The Son of Svengoolie (Rich Koz) warns Chicago motorists that the police department is "Puttin' on the Boot." Koz was the Son of Svengoolie on WFLD-TV from 1979 to 1986, and has portrayed Svengoolie on WCIU-TV since 1995.

Still watching Svengoolie all these years later. I have a personal signed birthday greeting in my den. In addition to Svengoolie magnets and a shirt. I watch him Saturdays on MEtv. I almost never miss his show. His schtick makes the horror movies more interesting.

Yep, he was a big part of my childhood, looked forward all week to Friday night or Saturday afternoon with Sven. He won't be around forever, but I'm gonna enjoy him as long as I can.
