Enjoy a historic walk through Tappan. This video, narrated and produced by Janet and Gil Galloway, covers the major sites and historic significance of this Rockland County hamet.
I love your video. Very informative. I live in New Jersey in the revolutionary town of Coryell's Ferry (current day Lambertville), which is only 7 miles north of where Washington crossed the Delaware before the battle of Trenton. I've crossed the Tappan Zee Bridge countless times, but knew nothing of the actual town it's partly named after. Thanks for sharing.

The DeWint House!!!
My ninth great grandfather was Jan Pietersen Haring. I am curious if his grave is in the Tappan cemetery?
It'd be hard to tell -almost none of the gravestones are readable.
