- Jeff sent me this guitar to play and comment on. Good job on the git my friend and the only suggestions/comments I had concerned my own personal preferences about a few things like height of the action and the pickup type. Bottom line is - I like it a lot!
Superb rendition
Thank you!
Jeffrey Ross did a fine job
nice playing
Thank you.
I love CCR . Great job!
Thanks Frankie.
GREAT JOB WITH A GREAT SONG - YOU DO IT WELL MY FRIEND
Thanks Del. I've enjoyed your posts and builds for a good while now!
Good job!
Thank you!
A trick that helps a little with the piezo. I find that the piezo is kind of tinny. A lot of high frequencies. If you add overdrive it sounds very muddy. It's kind of the opposite. I try to add just a little overdrive, just enough to thicken it up a bit. This is the best way I've found to get a pretty good sound out of it. The con is you can't choose how much gain you want. And BTW, it's pronounced (pee ay zoe). (pie zoe) isn't too bad at least. Some people say ( pee zee o) and that just bugs me.
Thanks for the tip Paul. That's a big part of why I prefer a mag pickup is the lack of good sound choices available with the piezo.I'll make a point to correct my pronunciation too even though I usually just call them pizza discs
morbanjo Well, since you have digital effects on your line 6, you might as well take advantage of them. They sound pretty good like that. This was mostly for the public I guess. I don't know, just BSing. Love your channel.
Thanks Paul.

***** Yes, technically that's a more correct way of saying it. I absolutely agree. My point is that people who say (pee zee oh) are way off. They're not even close. It's not even spelled that way. (Pie zo) is better but it still sounds off to my ear. I'd settle for (pee ay zo) though. It's not completely right but it's still in line with the essence of the word.
Show hein..👋👋👋

For everyone who thinks CBG's are a unique American thing only take a look at these British Soldiers with CBG's in a WW I GERMAN POW Camp at 3:34....ua-cam.com/video/6O31I1Rq7hQ/v-deo.html
Yes indeed! I wonder what tune they were playing? The officer in the middle didn't seem to care for it.
