Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when I was only 9 months old. Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life.
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Naveed for 7 years. We have two sons - Yahya is 4 and baby Ziyad is 1 year old.
Q: Why are you Homeschooling him?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system (we have only one or two international schools in our city) is not satisfactory. We are aiming to homeschool till 6 years of age for now.

SalamoAlaykoum dear! Montessori courses are helpful! But what gave me knowledge and wisdom in the field is, reading and watching a lot of content and then applying that to my kids.
Then through the western Homeschooling Mother recommendations I have bought a lot of curriculums:
Logic of English
Blossom and Roots
Wild Math
Jady A's files and folders
Right start Math
Singapore Math
All these come with Teacher's guide. They have explained how to teach the child whatever concepts.
This has given me a lot of experience. Montessori Course was the last thing I did to cover any educational gap that I missed.
So, though your journey doesn't have to be the same as mine. You can start the course but start practicing with your child as well.
Depending on your child's age. If he is 3 or above then you can do the following course.

WalaikumAssalam! Regular A4 size papers par print kar kay laminate kiye hain :).
Laminating sheets ki quality bhi different ati. The laminating sheets that I got from Saudia (brand Roco) unki sheets thick hain.
The ones I ordered from Daraz in Pakistan are thin. But they both work fine and nothing got damaged by kids :)

I didn't follow any particular book for counting! Just the chart helped and we would march and count as much as we can. Search English on my channel and you will find a lot of videos on it :)

In the last video u told not to use colour pencils but only markers for toddlers. Why is it so? I read somewhere that color pencils are good for grip and promoting fine motor strength
Do give them colors and a paper to color freely as they like!
What I meant was not to force kids to write on lines. Or colour inside with pencils.
As it's difficult for them to hold a thin pencil.
Markers are easy to hold and you don't need to force them to show on paper or whiteboard :)
There are many dry erase books for young kids for this purpose.
But do check how your child likes it. Some kids have naturally good fine motor skills. They don't mind the pencil.
Keeping a variety of mediums is a good solution for this. And ofcourse no zabardasti :)

No we haven't yet! School ki routine mey we needed time to adjust and I didn't want to burden Yahya. We restarted Beacon's workbooks last week. InshAllah umeed ha December tak kafi cover ho jaey ga!

The curriculum that i am properly going to follow is Blossom and Root Vol.1 (the whole of it) And from Volume 2 I will only follow English Activities

I find it very difficult myself, 3 years walay ko app ghar rakh sakti till age 6.
Older kids ka I'm not sure, I can't advise!

Teach your kids spelling rules. Then mostly the child will be able to spell most words that comes in his/her textbook. There still be some parts of words that they need to memorize. Also sight words need to be memorized as well :)

Its really a great idea to teach kids at home but having some questions in mind like how can child get opportunity to interact and play with his age group kids? I feel there must be some Centres where parents can take their kids to play and intract n do some other co curricular activities so they grow socially as well.
Anyone know any places/centrs in Pakistan?
Also want to add one thing, you are really doing great may Allah reward you with the best and help us all to do better for our kids aameen.

I started between 4-5 years with my kids.
We hardly did any writing at all before 4. Only coloring and that too at the child's pace and interest

Haey, 4 years tak baccha bara pakka ho jata apni habits mey. Toh esko routine mey lana will take a lot of patience from your side.
Research kehti k baccho ko routine and schedule relax karta. Jab unko pata hota k agay kya honay wala ha.
Toh app sab sy pehlay eik routine banaey.
Subah timely utha jaey. Nashta karay sath gup shup and hasi mazak shararto k sath. No screen!
I believe that if kids start the day with a screen, then unko parahi mode mey lana relatively difficult hota!
Nashtay k foran baad, take him to a room or a space designated for homeschooling. Eik table chair, wall p charts. Corner space ha toh 2-3 charts.
Room ha toh us hisab sy zeada charts.

Ye activities bacchay ko attract karay gi us homeschool space ki taraf.
Es tareekay sy shuru karnay ka ye faida kay bacchay k zehen mey unconsciously ye baat Bethna shuru ho jaey gi k es space mey aa kay hum mazay mazay ki activities kartay. Aur 5 min sy shuru kar k ahista ahista app time barhaey gi. In a month 10 min tak ley k jaiye ga.
Bacchay k bethnay ka stamina build hona shuru hoga. This will later prepare him for sit-down work. Usay bethnay ki aur concentrate karnay ki adat hona shuru ho gi. Jo activities ma ney es playlist ki videos mey dikhai hain, woh sab useful activities hain jis sy bacchay ka concentration span barhta. Usay focus karna ata. Us kay hand muscles strong hotay and many more benefits jo bacchay ko agay real work k liye prepare kartay!

WalaikumAssalam! I haven't exclusively homeschooled my kids all the way! We did exclusively homeschooling till the age of 6 and didn't have the kids tested. They just started school and admission tests were taken and put them in the relevant class :)
