Back when I was a kid playing this, I learned that cruisers always miss long. So once you start force firing ahead of your target, cruisers become insanely deadly, even to units. It hurts a little to see cruisers get partly squandered like this.
Beginner level of gameplay. No naval yards inside the inland lakes, so the ships had to cover a much larger distance. Very late expansion bases to efficiently harvest.. Classic Red Alert on CnCNet is still better.. Although it lacks saved replays so it's harder to cast..

What's weird to me about these is seeing all the "AFK"-style mistakes I don't really expect (and you don't really see in ZH) for players at this level.
Like, sure, I'll miss my idiot harvester trying to path through the enemy base to reach a fresh ore field, or let my army just plink at it as it passes but not move to finish it off it if I'm on the other side, but seeing Actual Good Players do that is odd. Wonder if there's something about this remake that is making it harder for them to keep track of things; lack of jump-to-last-event or map bookmarks or something?
Its only really been out like 1 month they haven't even had the time to build the muscle memory needed to prevent noobish mistakes. It takes time and practice like anything else.

Can't you get an MCV from chests? So NobleSub may have had a strategy.

loved the game even if there were plenty of nooby mistakes uncharacteristic of pros :D just a fun chaos game!!
I don't mind a good rush, but NobleSub literaly killed himself doing so, which is pretty lame imho.

Nobody is crazy enough to choose the soviets as long as allies have spy satellite and gap generator in those big maps.
wait, so what's the play there for allies against soviets
but soviet tanks outfight allied tanks, so just don't let your allied opponent mass navy perhaps? attack with tanks and V2 rockets to level their base and deny economy

@@christophilous4831 light tanks are actually my favourite in the game... what with their round ball turrets, funny "peh" firing sound in the original 😂
9 year old me was so blown away when my very first light tank rolled out of the warfactory in that allied mission where you defend a mountain pass... sweet red alert memories.
