One of the wackiest Zero Hour games I've ever seen. The Helix Flame Tank dropoff, the great early GLA aggression and micro, the repeated sell dodges, the Flamer just surviving by the skin of its teeth under fire from 3 RPGs as it repairs at the war factory, GLA vs China turns China vs China and then almost turns back into GLA vs China. I vote hall of fame. Love it.
@@blacklight4720 It is though, it may look simple but it's pure deception. There are so many details to get right if you want to play at the level you're seeing here.
@@ExiLeZH Hey exile, I speak from experience. I realize that I might sound arrogant or condescending, but this not a high level of play in terms of RTS. I'm coming from SC, and have played a lot Generals in past. My biggest problem is not with the poor unit management but the flow of the game in general. Map control, resource collection, resource denial and tech progression. Especially as a stealth general he(GeGe) should had more map awarness. I suspect that these players play once in a while, that is why their skill isn't as sharp as some other players.
@@blacklight4720 Hey, if you're used to seeing players like Excal and Vivid, yes their level is higher and you'd most likely see better midgame macro especially from the Stealth (the army that should win) and less flaws overall. These players are bit below that level but they're still fantastic, especially Stazz played this very well.

I dont like when people spam dragon tanks to counter quads. normal battlemasters are way more effective, they can easily 1v3 them... even outposts are better than dragon tanks
unfortunately dragon tanks are *too versatile* to make anything else, especially when you're not facing any aerial threat. They kill buildings, infantry, any light vehicle (even tanks in numbers) and extremely effective against garrison buildings which you face all the time. Hell, they even have huge range and huge Aoe attack with their dragon breath special. You only need 1 dragon tank to sneak into GLA supply stash and do insane amount of damage.
Vanilla Battlemasters suck as a main battle unit, they're slow and extremely fragile to RPG's (which GLA has alot of usually). Gats are the best in unit engagements, but can't clear positions / do structural damage, Dragons can and it's an essential ability to win games.
@@ExiLeZH sure, but 3 dragon tanks and a battlemaster are still better vs quads than 4 dragon tanks. we're not talking about a hypothetical situation where there was also rpgs - these are literally just quad vs dragon tanks battles and nothing else, and I dont like when people do this. the dragon tanks were actually doing quite bad even at some point
@@MaZe741 You are not meant to fight and overpower quads headon with the dragons. They still are good defensively with the flamewalls however. The whole point of Dragon spam (and the Helix drop) is to create momentum and put pressure on multiple positions and do structural/economical damage in order to keep the Quad numbers low. It’s a very aggressive and often chaotic strategy. Stazz executed it pretty well I have to say. Perhaps mixing in a few Battlemasters here and there can be useful, but trying to play like Tank general with max tank spam definitely is ineffective. It’s simply about understanding game dynamics and map balance. Because on more linear maps where you can’t sneak in Dragons from all directions forces you to play a much different and slower game, where the optimal unit composition completely changes. In such scenario it’s best produce mainly Gats (chain upgraded) with a couple of Outposts, later supported by ECM’s, Infernos and Migs. It’s a very strong composition when Stealth is forced fight this headon but also very immobile, therefore it doesn’t work on maps like Liquid Gold (which has alot of flanks). Trust me, I’m quite competent with the China Vanilla and got a pretty good winrate vs pro GLA players.
It has to be two worst players i've seen on this channel. GEGE does not have RTS mindset, he builds units and than finds them a use, instead of building units according to situation demand. I might be sound a harsh and condescending but this is like silver or gold league in StarCraft.

This is no way, it's a high skill game. No way this is high skill in terms of RTS.
