scrolling through the comments i noticed you replied to almost all of them, i really appriciate channels like that, so you got yourself a new sub :)
Thanks! Glad to know my efforts are appreciated. 😁
same here
The intro is pretty good for beginners, I learned a lot from it and you won’t get as overwhelmed. I think it’s worth giving it a try. I’m saving up to get the higher version now
I agree! Suite can be overwhelming to people who have never used music production software before. Thanks for watching!
You know what I like about this video...it's the fact that you actually listed all the equipment you use and the links where to get them...very useful for someone who is already in the field and just looking to upgrade
Glad you got something out of it! Thanks for watching!
This is the most concise video I've seen on the subject -- thanks for keeping it real!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for your good video! I'm Korean student. But there's no information about Ableton. So I didn't decide what version is good for me. But now I decide! Thank you, thank you :D
Thanks for watching!
Great video, really helped me out!!

Great video, bro! Very good pros & cons #salute
Thanks for watching!
Love you Alex
Thanks for your support
Subbed amazing content ty
Thanks for the sub!
Thank you I will go with intro since I'm a songwriter and I have electric guitars and acoustic plus bass guitar and keys that will leave me a good 8 to 10 tracks for drums and vocals and will get me some time underthehood before I invest more coin. Thank you 😊
Enjoy! Glad to be of help.
Thanks for you helpfull
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching!
Great video btw! Tiny tip: may be worth setting your camera to manual focus once you've set it up for the distance of your face as it seems to be continuously trying to focus :)
Thanks for the feedback! 👍
sinetwo don’t need this info personally, just think it’s coo that you left the positive comment.
Thanks for laying out all the differences. They’re all up on the website but I enjoy hearing personal opinions on them to help the average person. Did I hear some dilla drums in there??
Thanks for watching! I've been pulling music for these videos from Epidemic Sound. They have an awesome library of tracks for UA-camrs.
suite also includes sampler, operator, wavetable (and more), might be worth mention, as they`re great instruments
They are. Thanks for catching that!
i have Live 10 Suite and just LOVE IT !!! got some sounds from around the planet...added new folders...and,it makes my day..lol
Awesome! Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!
you deserve it man ,love the way you explain it...makes sense and easy to understand...looking forward for new videos on the topic.
God bless ,Chris.
How much copies does ableton live suite come with
That intro jungle break tho!
\m/ ( @_@ ) \m/
currently 30% off all versions at the moment so a great time to buy can practically get suite for the price of standard, expires on the 20th may as well
They're also doing 90 day trials of Suite. Lots of other plug-in and DAW companies are offering big discounts right now too.
Lets say you buy intro first, then want to upgrade to standard, do you pay the difference of the two or do you pay full price still of standard
There's upgrade pricing. You just pay the difference I'm pretty sure.
Nice one mate, no love for max for live? best feature of suite imo
Man I haven’t even started on that. Got through a few basic tutorials and realized it was way more than I needed for DnB and Dubstep. Lol
Hi, i don't know if you still read the comments of a video which came out 2 years ago but i'm actually a french student with some good basics in music and guitar, so i downloaded the trial version of ableton live and i actually love it ! I made my first (finished) instrumental minimalist song on it ( now that i have a nice daw to record and mix myself). But i wonder if going into an other style of production should be possible even with the intro version when my trial expires. I'm afraid the limitations of tracks and slicing audio would be limiting. Also i would not have access anymore to effects that i often use like the EQ. Do you think i can still record and mix a complete song even with the intro version of ableton or should i consider the standard version eventhough the price is kind of high ?
Thx a lot for you videos anyway, keep that up
I do read the comments! Start with Intro, you can always upgrade. There are also student discounts available for Standard and Suite.
Man, you could be my second brother! We look very a like! 😃 Nice guide btw. 😊
Lol thanks
i have the 11. i am not sure if it is stander , complete, it came when i bought the interface scarlate
Lite is enough for sampled genres.
Dj Shadow produces Entroducing with only an mpc60, turntables, and a mixer.
Yeah you can do a lot with Live Lite and an MPD16. Thanks for watching!
Epic
Thanks. :)
Is god real or is he shrek
Shrek is god
Hey - Thanks for the info. One thing that I can't seem to find anywhere is the number of audio CLIPS that the Intro version will support. I'm guessing there isn't a limitation since it is not mentioned but was hoping you may know?? Thanks!!
Thanks for watching! You're limited to 8 scenes. So basically 8 clips per track if you're working in session view. In arrangement view there should be no limit to clips.
@@DJCouchKing great, thanks!!
Thanks for the clarified info on each version. Also, Is it just me or is the audio lip sync is slightly off in this video?
Thanks for watching. Nobody else has mentioned that. I didn't notice when editing but it's possible.
I'm half tempted to wait for a sale, grab standard, get to grips with it (again, it's been a while since I last used it!) then upgrade to suite when I'm ready. It seems Standard + Suite upgrade = similar price to Suite?
10 Standard: 349 eur
10 Suite: 599 eur
10 Standard + 10 Suite upgrade: 349 eur + £266 = 649eur (possibly a bit less, I can't seem to find the prices online unless you actually have it on your account)?
Should be the same price. Alternatively if you're a student they do offer educational discounts.
A lot of people overlook standard... if you're used to external VSTs for most stuff then you'll be perfect fine with standard and save yourself £250+
True! If you're using mostly third party sample libraries and plugins you don't need suite IMO.
Hi! Do you think standard will be good enough for me? I can’t afford suite but I already have a few plugins (vital , which is a wavetable). Looking to make electronic music but also stuff for school work.
Standard is a good place to start. If you're a student make sure you get the education discount! You can always upgrade to Suite later.
I have a good understanding about Abelton but haven't really worked with it since a lot so would u please tell me if the standard is gonna work for me with the help of plugins or is the suite worth it?
It depends on what you're doing. Suite is worth it if you're doing music production using mostly MIDI and effects. Standard is a great option though and you can always upgrade to Suite.
I have a JUNO DS-88 synthesizer with around 1,200 sounds of many different varieties. Could this make up for lacking the added plug-ins that Suite would provide over Standard?
Absolutely.
So Ableton goes on sale era so often, does that include the boxed version?
I would think so. Keep an eye on the online store. Thanks for watching!
Hi there. I'm a vocalist and had Garage Band years ago. Now I have a pc laptop. I'm in a lyric-writing phase and essentially want to lay some backing beats/strings/vocals. I'm leaning toward the Ableton Live 10 Intro. Is there anything comparable within a similiar price point? Thanks!
If you buy today you get 20% off and a free upgrade to 11. There are other apps out there. If you're familiar with garage band logic might be easier for you to learn on Mac.
i’m just starting beat making and sampling, should i go w intro and learn all the basics and then upgrade to standard or will intro hold me back
If you're just starting Intro is a good place to start. Once you feel like it's limiting you then you can upgrade.
how about the lite version?
You can't really buy the Lite version. It typically comes free with hardware. Like keyboards, interfaces, etc.
For People Interested in Live 10 Intro I would recommend looking into live 10 Lite because its a better value it's very similar to Intro but comes free with some audio interfaces and things of that such
Intro is not available to buy without a hardware bundle.
@@DJCouchKing but lets say you buy a 100 dollar audio interface and it comes with lite. then you get ableton and an audio interface. lite is a much better deal than intro. i personally use suite
The features are not the same. Lite is limited to only 8 tracks. Intro allows for 16.
@@DJCouchKing lite is a better deal in most peoples but i dont want to argue if you think intro is better thats fine but most people would prefer lite
If you didn’t already have a midi controller lite could be good
Hi I have a question. Does Ableton intro not allow you to turn audio into a midi instrument? Or does it just not let you turn the audio into midi notes?
Audio into midi notes. You can still slice audio and put it in the simpler or drum rack.
I got ableton with Arturia Keylab61. Can you tell me is it intro or just trial version?
It's most likely Ableton Live Lite. It's like Intro just with a few less features. It does not expire though.
HI, Have a Roland Keyboard. I like to be able to improvise a piece on the keyboard and record it into a midi file. Can Ableton software do this and which version. Thanks and much appreciated if you can reply my query.
Yes you can record and export MIDI in any version of Ableton. If you only need to record one track you can start with Ableton Live Intro.
@@DJCouchKing Thanks mate for prompt reply. Honestly I didn't expect a reply. Amazing, you just got yourself a new sub :)
Do you know if there is a substitute if no cutting clips in intro? And do you know how different intro is compared to the trial? I’m just trying to get the most for the 100$ because it’s a big jump to the next, would there be a point in getting an older version to get more and pay the same? Or is that not good? Last cant you download more audio samples or instruments or what have you online? If you have intro? Thanks and if you need to message me that’s fine. Trying to decide asap
But no really, should I email you
My email is alex@djcouchking.com feel free to!
When i try using files of covers like kaskobi's, most of them tell me i need max for live. Which version of ableton live do i need to work with these projects?
You'll need Live Suite for Max for Live to work.
If i purchased this ableton..is it life time or without expiration?
Lifetime for the license, at as long as they support the version you buy.
Can Ableton intro support third party vst plugins for guitars
Yes it can. VST is a universal format for virtual FX and instruments. Ableton Live supports both VST2 and VST3.
If you buy a MIDI Controller or Audio Interface, check the details, some come with Ableton Live 10 Lite. I got a $60 M-Audio MIDI controller with Live Lite. It’s the same as Intro.
It's not quite the same. You can't have as many tracks in Lite. You're limited to 8 in lite, in Intro you have 16.
DJ Couch King
Correct. I just read that after reading your comment. Dang, I should’ve just went for Intro. I adjusted A LOT to making beats in 8 tracks, imagine with 16. Im looking to upgrade with their COVID-19 special that they’re running. Most likely Standard since I really just need to unlock the limited tracks. I mostly mix using Waves and iZotope. I create mostly using Native Instruments and Arturia.
It's worth it man. My tunes usually run 50-75 tracks.
DJ Couch King
I miss that. I use to have a pirated version. But I’m going legit now. Never realized how much it is. But I’m determined to get back in. Legal.
£239 in England for standard. I'm just starting out, so not sure which one to go for. Does google flag your music tracks as its going on tube for myvideos, hopefully.
Google won't flag original content, or content you've licensed from a service that's approved your account.
hi DJ, I'm a biginner in using abeleton and I'm deciding between Standard and Suite. I will be using other midi as push later on and record acoustic songs mix and master or create beats. Is standard good enough?. really need help in deciding thank you
Standard is a a great place to start. Suite comes with more sounds effects and instruments but you can get lots of free VSTs to fill in the gaps. You can always upgrade to Suite later on.
DJ Couch King thank you 🙏🏼
i already have vst's and loop/sound packs but there's no audio slicing in intro so it's pretty much useless
You can slice it manually, or drop the samples into a drum rack then duplicate and crop within simpler.
@@DJCouchKing well maybe it's not so useless then...
Will there be an Ableton 11 soon? I know I want the suite for sure but since it’s so pricey I want the latest one
I don't think so. There was 5 years between 9 and 10. Its only been a little over a year and a half since 10 came out.
DJ Couch King wow! Okay, awesome thanks!
@@bobbilly897 thanks for watching!
I just want standard for the extra sounds like the bass
Standard is a great place to start.
What would you recommend for deep house electronica? Would any of these be good alternatives to Logic?
Yeah Ableton Standard or Suite would be great for that. Suite if you don't want to have to buy plugins. But you can always upgrade from Standard. 11 is coming out soon.
I've tried FL, Logic and Ableton. I produce deep house and techno. Ableton is superior in every way.
I'm just worried if I'll miss having all the sounds that I already get with the trial version when I get the intro version (I know I definitely will *not* get the others because I just make music for myself, and don't want anything more out of it.) Also, I'm not that good at using software like this, so I don't really understand what a lot of the terms for the features mean (I know stuff like reverb, gain, stuff like that. One thing I don't understand exactly is what sounds are, because it says I get 1500 sounds with the intro version but when I look at the trial version, which is equivalent to suite, i might have 100 at most. Sorry if that was a head squeeze to read.
There are SO MANY free sounds out there. Free instruments, FX, samples. You'll have plenty to play with. You can always upgrade later.
@@DJCouchKing thanks, dude
on live 10 standart can i use external vst??
Yes, all versions of Live support VST/AU plugins.
Im not sure where Ableton live 10 lite is. Is it the same as intro or standard?
It's more like intro than standard. Lite is usually a free version given out with hardware that Ableton has partnered with.
can i still use my drum machine in the intro version
You can hook up MIDI devices to Intro. Does your drum machine connect via DIN MIDI or USB?
Hey, so you can save projects with Ableton live intro right? Just wondering because I'm using the lite version and you cant but am looking into buying intro.
Yes, but you should be able to save with Lite as well. To my knowledge the only time you can't is if you open a project that was created in standard or suite and contains devices you don't have a license for.
@@DJCouchKing oh ok thanks for the answer!
You're welcome!
I think standard is the best version to start up with and if your a student u get a discount so
Agreed! It's good value. Suite is only worth it if you need the extra samples and instruments.
DJ Couch King thank you for agreeing i wish I could buy though
you just saved me £120 :)
Ted Thomas if u cant afford it just download the trial version and when the trial ends use a vpn and download it again (legit working)
So I take it if I want to warp pitches on an audio wave can I do that in ableton live intro?
soulofbass you can warp and repitch in intro, but standard has better warping algorithms and will sound better. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Alex Visciotti Wow, thanks for the quick reply!
Sorry for the late reply, hope you got it sorted!
I don't know if you are aware, but the link to your lens and microphone are the link to the lens. Just as an fyi
Thanks for catching that!
i got only 1 question, so users of ableton 9 that purchasade they can upgrade to 10 any time? is it (Lifetime Free Updates) ?? or in each version i need purchase new packages? pls someone if can help on this answer
If you own Live 9 you will get a discounted price on upgrading to Live 10. It's not a free update. Incremental updates are free though. (I.e. 10-10.1 etc,)
@@DJCouchKing thank you, hope at least people from live 9 can get a good discount tho, i'm thinking of buying the live 10 suit at the moment, but in any case i just ask because if there will be live 11 or so in future i can be prepared bro. thank you again for reply. Thanks! And good find on the release history!
I'm thinking about buying Ableton Live 10 Standard. On ableton.com it's telling me to buy the upgrade with the cheaper price, but I've never paid for a version of Ableton Live such as Live 10 Intro, since I have the Lite version. Also the option to buy Live 10 Intro is grayed out. Is this upgrade going to work, is it safe to buy, will it just not work and make me lose my money?
You're eligible for the upgrade price to standard if you own lite.
@@DJCouchKing Thanks!
I currently have standard and I realise that I don't really need it. I hardly ever have more than 6 tracks and I mostly use plug ins from my Native Instruments library.
In your case Intro would be probably fine.
Does standard come with EQ 8?
Yes it does, and it's a great tool.
That drumintro is exactly like the intro off of devil's music by The Pharcyde. Is it a sample?
I cut up a break sample and added the bass line and other sounds to give it that kind of 90s breakbeat jungle feel. Don't remember which break I used exactly but was a long time ago. 😅
@@DJCouchKing Haha gotcha, yea from second 21 onwards it sounds exactly like that song. Also thanks for the tutorial (y)
Can anyone tell me which 8 midi effects are included in standard? Also which 12 additional audio effects that come with suite? Thinking of buying it but only used suite before so wanna know which ones I will/won't be getting
All that info is available here: www.ableton.com/en/live/compare-editions/
@@DJCouchKing Awesome, thank you!
Ableton Live 10 lite good enough for me an it’s free%
@@christianvega9469 Or you can get a MIDI Keyboard (like the Novation Launchkey Mini). You get a good tool to make music, and these come with a serial number for Ableton Live Lite 10.
So I'm new to abelton I'm a dj looking to to make my own edits/remixes and edit mixes and I'm wanting to know if abelton intro will work for that
Intro will get you started. You'll want to upgrade to at least standard eventually for the warping features.
@@DJCouchKing would the warping feature in it still work for what I'm trying to use it for? Or is it not that advanced
Intro comes with the Complex mode now, so it should work well for edits. For remixes you'll want standard or Suite for the extra instruments and effects.
Can you use plugins on the intro version?
Yes, you can.
Thank you 🙏
should i trust purchasing a used ableton suite?
Probably not, I wouldn't. If you want to get a discount find someone with a student ID and buy the education version.
I bough ableton the next day
Glad I could help!
DJ Couch King its a reference to a joke
So while i decided what DAW i want to start using, I picked up intro. So i only get 4 inputs, and outputs? I couldn't even close mic an entire drum kit?, let alone play over a "drumless track" to record a drum cover?
Intro should give you 8 in/out.
@@DJCouchKing Sadly it doesn't. I bought it. GC pro audio by me are a bunch of scammers. Tascam should update the firmware, but not being usb c, maybe they can't? Do you know of any DAW that can sync audio and video?
Hey! 😊 I was just wondering if intro would be good for me since I'm just doing all this for fun and I just want to remix and learn this stuff, never done it before and just want to make remixes of popular songs, also will I be able to put this onto UA-cam when I'm done creating a remix? And what does send and return tracks mean? And if u still reading this lmao what does mono audio input and output channels mean? Thanks in advance!! 🥰
To be specific on one kind of remixes, I want to try bootleg/shuffle remixes.
Live Intro is a great place to start. Standard and Suite can be overwhelming for a beginner. If you plan on remixing popular songs UA-cam might take them down for copyright reasons. You could probably get away with posting them on Instagram or SoundCloud if they're different enough from the orginal. Send tracks make a copy of the audio signal and route it to a return track so you can put effects on it. Mono is one audio channel, stereo is two channels (left and right). Hope this helps!
@@DJCouchKing thx appreciate it alot! Think I'll get it and upgrade when necessary in the future 🙂 thx again!!
No problem! Come back when you're ready for tutorials. 😁
@@DJCouchKing just bought intro! Just did a little look around on it, and now I need your tutorials lol
Congrats! You can watch the whole beginner series here: Ableton Live 10 Beginner’s Course: ua-cam.com/play/PLKh4FVUGIDkz6yo-vkuvKIhRnraIDv7Pj.html
Such a shame intro doesn't have the audio slice feature. I'm guessing that means any file you import cannot be cut up? You just have to use it as it is?
You can manually slice audio files in any version of live and use drum rack to chop it.
I’m currently thinking upgrading. Standard is around $200 cause get a discount from ableton 9. But suite is $750. Is the suite worth the extra price? I have a lot of plugins too like massive and serum etc. and a lot of loops.
Suite comes with some great instruments and effects. Wavetable and Operator are both awesome, and the amp effect too. If you have a student ID you can get a discount on Suite also.
DJ Couch King I got ableton suite from sweet water only $300
Awesome! Congrats!
Hey my friend. Is there a downside to using the student discount? I heard that the edu license only lasts while you're in school and that you cant copyright or sell the music you make with that. Is that true?
No, I don't know where you heard that but that's definitely not true. You just need a valid school ID to send to Ableton to verify you're an active student when you activate it. The only mission I know of is that you might now be eligible for upgrade pricing to future versions. I'm not 100% on that but you can check the website.
@@DJCouchKing Dude thank you so much for getting back to me. No one has been able to clarify that for me, and if there is no downside (other than possibly not being able to upgrade) I'm just gonna go with that. Also, even with the student discount, it says you can get a free upgrade to 11 when it comes out.
Also I just subbed because you actually interact with your comments, well done bro.
Thanks for the sub! No worries man. A school I used to teach at sold the EDU version all the time. Never had any complaints from my students. Enjoy!
What if I am a guitarists and a singer, and I only need the amp and a couple other stuff for effects. Should I still get suite?
You can buy the amp effect separately. You don't have to buy the entire suite if you'll only need that effect. I would recommend getting Standard and buying Ableton's Amp/Cabinet effects separately or even going with Native Instruments Guitar Rig as a plugin for Ableton.
@@DJCouchKing Thank you so much sir! I am so thankful for your quick response. God bless you!
Ok so the ONLY difference between Standard and Suite is the extra GB of sounds and samples?
Also the instruments and FX. Operator, Wavetable, etc.
also i think it has some more plugins
Is it worth the $600 though?
Is ableton live lite and ableton intro the same thing ?
As far as the features I think they're pretty much the same. Lite usually comes with hardware and Intro is a standalone paid app.
Lite is restricted to 8 tracks while intro is restricted to 16.
Dumb question:
You can import (an unlimited amount of) sounds, effects and plugins with the intro version right?
There's no limit to what you can import or how many plugins that I'm aware of. You'll only have 16 total audio/MIDI tracks though.
@@DJCouchKing Ok. Thank you👍🏼

Why my new ableton live 10 intro just can make single arm record, not a multiple arm record, clik next track, the previous track off
You can either hold down a modifier key when record arming multiple tracks (Ctrl on PC, CMD on Mac) or you can go into preferences > record/warp/launch and disable exclusive record arming.
What is the worth getting this then? Logic pro x you can have unlimited number of tracks and don't charge you extra for certain things.
Logic is a great DAW. They're totally different animals though. I think people like Ableton because of how streamlined and fast the workflow is.
What folks who don't use Mac?
Are you allowed to have someone thats currently a student buy it for you? If so would they have to register it under their name or is the ID just to buy it and you get your code to use just like you would had it been bought at full price?
They will ask for a student ID for the education version. That account will have two activations for the software.
DJ Couch King ah I see so if I had someone just use their ID to buy a full version, the only thing they’d be using their ID for was actually buying the software? After that the ID wouldn’t be needed and it would just be a normal full version of ableton?
Correct. You would just need the login information for the account to activate the software.
@@DJCouchKing Ah ok I think I've got it now. Thanks heaps for the help man :)

hello sir.. can you help me please.. I have the live 10 intro and I’m trying to slow a fast song from 137 bpm to 127 .. how shall I do it right so it won’t forge the project?
Did you produce the song in Live? Or is this just an audio file you need to adjust the tempo of?
hi .. its just an audio file that i am trying to slow down ..i must say that before i bought this live intro 10 project ,i try the full version of live 10 for one mounth and there i have not had any proplem .. i cant remember which the opthioni put it on there when i slowed tracks over there ,but here at hte live 10 intro i do not get the same resolts .. thank you so much for your help sir
Drop the audio file in the timeline in arrangement view, set the clip to the original tempo in the clip editor, activate warping in complex mode, adjust the master tempo of the live set and the audio file will follow. Then go to file and export audio/video to create a new audio file at the desired tempo. Complex will give the best results, but also use the most CPU. Most computers should be able to handle it just fine if it's only one stereo audio file.
DJ Couch King thank you so much
No problem!
For the Intro version you said you "Can't slice audio." Does that mean you can't edit clips after you've recorded them?
You can definitely edit audio. I was referring to the slicing mode in the sampler player.
I have lite cuz I'm broke asf:(
It's a start! You can always upgrade. :)
Live intro now has all of the stretching algo's.
That's awesome! Thanks for the update!
You're welcome!
Forgot to mention that 10 'Lite' also has ll the algo's. That's quite a biggie :)
With intro can you record your voice
Yep. You can use a microphone or the built in mic on your computer. I have a tutorial on how to do that in this series.
what about External instrument?? can i use external vst in ableton intro???
Unfortunately you'll need at least standard for that. You should be able to route MIDI out to external hardware in intro, you'll just have to use separate audio and MIDI tracks.
@@DJCouchKing so you can't play like a guitar in Intro?
@@graphicscard you can record a guitar into Live Intro, or a mic or whatever. Thought you were asking about the external MIDI device built into live
@@DJCouchKing what is an external midi device? like a midi keyboard? im a little confused. let me just ask this, is there a way to record drums with a midi controller in Intro? i just got intro last night and ive put together a quick song, but i want to do more with the drums without having to click them in and manually move them around. i noticed most of the stock drum sounds aren't midi or cant be routed to midi tracks. what does this mean, and can i import my own drum kit into ableton and also use it with a midi controller?
@@graphicscard you can use any MIDI controller to record drums or whatever in Intro. What I'm referring to is a specific instrument in Live called "External Instrument." That only comes with Standard and Suite. You don't need it for what you're doing.
What's the deal with pluggins in intro like superior drummer and bias fx?
Intro supports VST and AU plugins so you should be able to use any third party instruments and effects.
@@DJCouchKing great thank you so much! Would you recommend a setup like that for just like basic demos? I'd like to start recording some of my music
@@finnancahill2644 what style of music are you recording? Is it mostly live instruments or MIDI/Samples?
@@DJCouchKing metal, the only sampling would be for the drums
Ableton is great for sequencing and sampling, but for recording live instruments like bass and guitar it's definitely not the best. Logic, Cubase and Pro Tools are a bit more difficult to learn but make it a lot easier to record multiple takes and switch between them. They can all sequence MIDI with plugin instruments too.
Can I record R&B songs with Intro, im a singer.
You can record any kind of music into Ableton Live. Although, personally, I think Pro Tools, Logic or Cubase are better suited for recording live vocals.
@@DJCouchKing thanks you're the best man
