NFS Payback - was it actually that bad? "A 2024 LOOK!"

- In this video, I share some of my thoughts on Need for Speed Payback a 2017 racing arcade game I bought recently after enjoying my time on the following game "Heat"
This video is not a typical review just a collection of thoughts here in 2024 however I broke it down into two main parts " The voice-over with orignal animation" and more simple gameplay commentary as I aim to beat auto log/speedwall scores on drift events, this is a new format I am trying out so be sure to leave a comment on what you think.
I completed the game before making this video so some clips may not be the best at illustrating what I am talking about however this does give the video a spoiler-free vibe for anyone who hasn't already picked up the game.

I just can't understand how you drift like that at the end "blows my mind"

I liked this NFS overall. It a good game imo.
I played the hell out of NFS Rivals. Which was my first exposure to the franchise. So ever since I've made it a point to collect every game in the Need For Speed series. I believe I finally completed the set recently. Now I just need to make the time to play them all.

Shame only Heat and Unbound are crossplay, Rivals was the first racing game I looked at on the old channel, I've also got them all, thanks for the comment mate I appreiate it
i had loads of fun in it, and it was loads of fun to beat a regera online with a GNX before the update that changed the cars
Ah so the was a meta shift on-line interesting, always like mix up my cars might have to give the 1987 Buick a try now, thanks for the comment
"Interesting" style for av ideo game review. The first half of the video is a game review. The 2nd half of the video is just you drifting the entire time. I do understand that you like the drift events, but there are other game modes in this game as well. E.g. I totally dig those runner events. (taking down cop cars similarly to taking down other players in the road rage events in the Burnout series)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I wouldn't class this video as a full on review but more like sharing my thoughts a little, like I said I did record the 2nd half twice but had some issues with the recording so that is why it's only drifting at the end "my personal favourite part" of the game but I appreciate not all tastes are the same
I only love this game coz you can slam the shit out of cars lol
runs a modern game on a HDD complains about loading times and falling off the map SMH , anyway need for speed payback is the beter than heat and unbound
I wasn't running it on a HDD but SSD, i said if your running an HDD "not everyone has high capacity SSD" I think you'll have a really hard time, the problem for me was having other apps interfere such as updates for games, or having editing software open in the background an SSD is fast enough that it should happen but it still does with this game anyway I appreciate the comment, thanks for watching
