    When you were drying them with your pinkish hair dryer I wondered how that colour would look on the paintings! Working in a series is everything 🤩. More energy, more fun... More results! Look forward to seeing yours on these, Jackie😊

    Do you have the rest of these out as videos yet? I can’t wait to see where they go? I looked on your UA-cam site and didn’t see the rest😢. Thanks again for sharing your work!

    You can wet the back of any loose canvas and it will be taut in 5 min.

      Is it less successful if the front has been painted on already? I’ve had a harder time tightening the canvas after I’ve painted the front. Lesson learned, but wondering if that’s the case across the board or just specific to what I used.

    I love painting with my fingers! I use a moisturizing soap with a nail brush, and it usually comes off (almost) completely. 😊

    Does the water have to be dried off rapidly with the drier or can they be left overnight please? Also do you spray the water just in the corners or all over. Thank you so much ❤

      No need to dry it with a dryer - letting it air dry is fine. I spray the water all over, including the corners :)

    These look amazing, very cohesive. It looks like you are using a homemade stay-wet palette. Is that just moistened blue towel under a stay wet palette sheet?

      @jackieschomburgart  Рік тому

      Thank you, Kathy! You’re close - it’s blue paper towels under baking parchment ☺️

    This has inspired me as I get back to my art after decades away. Thank you! I have a butcher's tray like yours too - is that palette paper on top? Do you wet the tray before you put the paper palette down? 😊

    What medium did you put on the graphite that made it smear, what exact medium? Thank you. I’m gonna watch your three videos in order, in the near future, so I want to let you know I may be having other questions. And I appreciate your answers as you’re able to give them to me.

      Hi 👋🏻 I use gloss medium from Nova Color Paints. Any gloss or matte medium will have the same effect

    Why is it so important to tighten up the canvases? Pls like a lot of work

    • @jackieschomburgart
      @jackieschomburgart  Рік тому

      It’s nice to have a uniformly tight, flat work surface. I suppose it’s personal preference, but most people prefer it to be taut.
