Tonight me & Stu decided to do something a little different.. Tonight we explore this abandoned school at night! The place has been abandoned for a very long time, it was even used for a BBC Show back in its day, now it sits completely empty. Sadly there have been some recent arson attacks and also some Vandalism…. Wile we were In there we did hear some very strange noises, it was a windy night… but we both felt like it wasn’t the wind and possibly something els?.. 👻

At 21:51 to 21:53 = there's someone's voice that wasn't either of you, sounded like they were moaning or making some sound. Sounded female. I'm gonna rewatch later after my husband cleans my PC and hook up new cable cord to see what else I hear or see if I see anything to spook ya'll out lol. Great videos guys, love from OKC, OK. USA.

Great video guys, just be careful when using strobing / flashing lights. Photosensitive epilepsy is when seizures are triggered by flashing lights or contrasting light and dark patterns so might be worth warning viewers at the start of the video. 😁👍
Definitely! I had to look away from the screen, I have neuropathic issues with my vision and avoid all flashing lights where possible as it can cause some right flippin stuff for me 😔
I could hear something,but really low. I love your spooky explores. I've seen a ghost two different times, one when we first moved where I now live next to an old early 1800s cemetery. At that time, we are the only people living on this road. Long story short was a knock on our door about 10 pm, watching TV with my Mom and followed her to answer the door saw a mist gliding across the lawn back towards cemetery. Second time I saw one when I worked as an orderly in our hospital so I have no doubt they are real.
I'd be afraid most of the old buildings in the UK are haunted because you guys have buildings that were built when we were still 13 tiny colonies and before.
I saw a shadow figure and my 10 year old boy see's a thin white face looking at him through the glass its terribly scary.
Just when I needed a new video from the Bearded Explorer, thank you Colin for taking my mind off of the atrocities going on in Ukraine.

These are the best videos abandoned Schools, theme parks and hospitals! This was definitely an interesting one, the rope was really weird, maybe just kids been swinging on it! It does make you sad why all these places get left to rot away. Can't wait for the next one!

I think that noose was from the TV show that was filmed there, I remember seeing it in another urbex video.

@@Ianw236 The other video I remember watching included stills from the actual TV show, that part of the school was filmed as a dungeon I think it was.

The TV show filmed there was young Dracula for CBBC and wad used till 2012 for that well that's when the last season of it finished

At 19:28 time there is a BBC Micro 32k & a burned out Microvitec CUB Monitor. Cool. That BBC computer is very collectible today.
This could do with a strobe warning Colin, it's quite unpleasant especially for someone who suffers from epilepsy.

I prefer these videos rather than cars, I know many people are car buffs but it was too many to watch. This was spooky looked like a few former pupils got revenge. Well done 💕🇦🇺
That school was closed down in 2004, it's a grand 2 listed building but can't see it being saved, great video 👍

Hi from durham colin and stu👍👋 this was a shame you guys could not get In safely but great to see rest of grounds and buildings. I went to school on private grounds called windlestone hall was big old stately stone build property owned by the family name off edens. there was some freaky stuff happened there in time I was there but it had clock tower stables converted etc but 3 storey building ground floor 1st floor and secret floor and underground tunnnels to a for about a mile underground 👍 left to ruin from subsidence! Not sure on what its like now tho for condition. Eden family had prisoner of war camp (eden camp pow) he was anthony eden was a former prime minister in uk from 1880/1890 anthony robert eden and sir robert eden father but was awesome to be there 👍💙💓 thanks for your time sorry for essay comment 😂💪 be safe see you soon ps if find pic outside durham county hall with banner ("" reopen save our school"") I was just in shot on left hand side holding it to try and save the former house as a School for us cos there was massive inquiry for yhe usual abuse malarky 😢 👍💪 loved windlestone hall school days💓💙👍

I wouldn't walk underneath that rope, for fear it might make a loop round your neck and then lift you up. Crack goes the neck, and then one may take residence with the ghosts and be merrily frightening paranormal investigators trespassing. 😅

I am watching this at 2.30am and had to put volume down and after just a few moments of watching the swinging rope with knot hanging...I'm now going to watch a cat video to forget another this as I am about to scream and have a heart attack cos I'm so creeped out.
Do not disturb ghosts stuck in the toilets with loose bowels and re-living the minutes before sitting a gruelling exam. 😅

Omg back in them days lol I'm 42 we used boncen burners back in90s secondary school plus the turning blackboards, got smacker up the head plenty of time with flying duster when teacher got pissed off with r crzyness

Must have been closed a while, that damaged monitor and keyboard in that area towards the end was an old BBC Micro and Cub monitor.
and Jonathan Creek too... an episode where, inexplicably, a female Policewoman was straggled in an empty locked gymnasium.
Other people have already given some history about this school below and together with things I found it sums up to about this:
- It was built in 1885 and at one time was the grand home of a cotton broker before becoming a school.
- In 2004 the school closed and then parts of the TV series Young Dracula were filmed there.
- In 2016 the buildings were sold from the city council to private owners.
- In May 2018 the building was on fire however fire service were able to put it out relatively quickly. It must have been arson as the buildings were set alight in several places at once, as you suspected. I found no information on whether anyone was ever accused for it.
- The property is listed Grade II but the private owners, since purchasing it, have not done anything with it, they say.

That was a creepy old place!Glad you were there with Stu after seeing the hospital one!!Im sure I heard a voice at one point that wasnt you or Stu,but Im going to have to go through it again to see if I really did.Must have been closed for quite awhile as most schools dont have blackboards anymore its all whiteboards n stuff.I think you should definately get Stu to go back to the hospital with you!!x
I believe this location was used for, 'Inspector George Gently', an episode where a teacher had twice had an unwholesome relationship with a minor female schoolgirl.

A great explore video. That place isn’t half spooky at night. I would say there is definitely paranormal activity going on there. Loved it.

Yeah I've seen someone do this place before and there was a noose on the end of the rope and somebody has cut it off so nothing too sinister
The school is very nice and spooky I think you need to come back and do more investigation like a Spirit box or something like to see if they a ghost

It was a windy night. All the noise was just stuff blowing in the wind. We can hear the traffic lights beeping which are 1/2 mile away if the wind blows the right way

Was there an ambuance or police cars going in the distance? @17: 60 to 18:10ish, when your buddy was strobing his flashlight you can hear what sounds like one going far away or maybe wind whistling through screens?
@21:52 just before you leave building can hear someone make a sound like landing from a jump. Not sure if that was you having to jump from a height or " something else "
