Moogerah Dam Bass Fishing (Dirty water tactics)

First time to Moogerah Dam in SEQLD and managed to tempt a few to bite during a shut down bite window.

Do you find much difference between the 4-10lb NFC baitcaster blanks and the Rainshadow baitcaster blanks?

Cheers Vince! It was a grind but was awesome to see something work.
I do, the NFC is a fast high quality composite blank, if you have used an edge rod or zodias it is that style of fast light tapered rod. The Rainshadow is a "lower modulus" graphite, essentially its not as fast tapered and "reactive" as the NFC, although I would say it feels indestructible because of this. (It's graphite so we all know it isn't haha) but I like the feel of this a bit more because of the style of fishing I do imo.

@@TheHuntForBronze I almost went with the Rainshadow, but I was getting a 6ft short grip baitcaster made for catching bass on surface out of a kayak. Very happy with the NFC and the fast action and stiffness is perfect. Was just curious what I was missing out on with the Rainshadow 😆

Im personally not a fan of that short and stiff of a rod for surface fishing, but the joy of custom is it's all personal preference at the end of the day and you get what you want! Stoked you're loving the rod I definitely could not recommend them enough. Hopefully you slay some absolute fatties on em
