Nicole’s “issue” with her half sister is what many experience in our community, where some family members blame the child for their FATHER’S actions instead of asking the right person the right questions.

I love how OWN is bringing these shows that everyone can watch. My family and I use to love watching the Saturday evening like up with Sweetie Pies , Flex and Shanice, and that other show with all the kids lol

It will! I've noticed this is the new formula. They sell us on black love and black excellence and then the drama comes and takes over. It'll be 4 to 5 seasons of it going downhill. Just think about the last couple of shows like this. It never fails.

G1 is refusing to sell to G2 specifically, which is weird. If all they want is their mortgage paid then what’s the problem? G2 should just buy the property and let G1 devour the money as they intended. It’s weird to want to sell but not sell to them.

I don’t think she’s cold. She’s reserved and serious but she laughs when something funny is said. And her hairstylist was doing way too much and talking way too much at 4am. She said this was her time to relax and get herself together and the hairstylist was acting like she had ADHD. Too early for all that-just do my hair and be quiet lol.
I personally am not my best in the morning. I need quiet for a bit. The stylist is family but being paid. Provide a professional service. That being said, she might just have a cold affect ingeneral.

@@mssunshne1962 yes, my brother wanted it but the G1s with their forever complaining selves had lots of vitriol. i printed the packet for my brother to take to have it filed to stop the private auction. the house is delapitated after squatters etc and will need demolished. property taxes are $4000 behind. the G1s will find out after his name is put on the land. guess there will be more vitriol when that happens. built in 1890 33 X 115 LOT 75, 2 family house. hope probate goes good for him! im the paperwork/research/investing G2 out of the gang, lol.

Do they never stop talking shop? Do they sit down and talk about their lives, children, etc? Just about increasing their wealth even when they are relaxing as a family.
Seems like the show is more about them being a family empire so we will likely see more of the "shop" talk

The G1's are all over 50 & most over 60. Why aren’t their mortgages near paid? They should allow G2's to develop the land.
The average mortgage is 30 years.
@leahgoddess8157 And most of them are 60 & up. Theoretically, they had these houses since they were in their 30s. Matter of fact, most Baby Boomers first homes were in their 20s & their second home came in their 30s or 40s. They at least 20-30 years in on those mortgages.
Might have taken out heloc loans over time, depending on the current value may still owe, could've been a big loan..who knows but them
