What is sad is we live in a country where it's so expensive to live we have to think of other alternatives to survive. I've been thinking about doing this just to pay off my bills and save money. Hospital parking lot is smart.

Travel centers like Love's, Pilots, Flying J, Petro, Metro. These places are well lit with a lot of security cameras, showers, and restaurants in them. I have traveled to 41 states as a single driver. Safe travels!

Find another person that’s being a nomad like yourself so you guys can be a team and look out for each other

Girl- you helped me not off myself today I swear! I’ve been stuck living in my car and now I see I need to fix my bed situation- not getting accurate sleep is taking its toll

Heyyy Florida born and raised here, and I’ve been living in my car for 6 months now and honestly, it’s a fluctuating experience. I started towards the end of fall and sleeping at night through the winter was amazing. Now we’re in spring and summer 🥲 the humidity is killer, there’s no escaping it. And if it wasn’t for my little fan, I wouldn’t be here today. Living in your car is definitely a unique lifestyle and causes you to think outside the box, with new problems and opportunities to expand constantly popping up. So good luck on your journey and maybe we’ll cross paths. (Also I disagree, I love Florida’s nature, there are some really diverse and beautiful spots around here.)

Find the suburbs close to you and stay there . I stay at the same shopping plaza every night. It's in the suburbs, very white area , very safe .

I am so happy my Tesla model 3 has a camp mode. I pull in, plug in and turn on camp mode. It even displays flames so that you have a little fire place in your car.

Young lady please be very careful and safe. And think about where truckers sleep too. My brother is a former intelligence officer in Army, now truckndriver. He recommends truck stop , but away from the truckers, most will protect you, if you have problems, slam on the horn itnwjes them up, they come running. I've been nomad for 2 &1/2 yrs. I'm in an E150 Triton van. Loving it!

Honestly, I think it’s a testament to our resilience. No matter what the elite one percenters throw at us, we always find new ways to not just survive but to thrive with what little we have. Being dependant on luxury and convenience was making us weak and hyper dependent on a comically corrupt government. But the more time you spend realising that a little discomfort isn’t all that bad and the more we see just how little we need over half of the stuff we have, the less we need to rely on anything else.

I’m so glad I came across your channel. I am gearing up to start living out of my car in a couple of months, and I think my biggest concern is finding a place to sleep when I’m in cities. People are sketchy lol. But the hospital parking lot idea is a really good one that I never would have thought of. Thanks for sharing!

You sound smart and you are also articulate. Not to mention you’re a very beautiful woman. Please be careful. Also when you find your way and you are absolutely killing it in life know that your experiences now will all be remembered and will shape you into a better person so as much as that may not be ideal keep staying positive.

Congratulations you're about to save quite a few dollars. Keep up with the maintenance of your vehicle have a good towing service and save some money. I wish I did this at your age.

I also use black construction paper for the little gaps that my window covers don't cover. Either tape it to the window or just wedge the paper behind the window cover where the gap is until it stays put. Total black out, with no light coming in or out.
