Hi there! Bought the Dynahead for my son after watching your video, and have also added the Traxxas tires. I used the Tamiya sticky black goo provided and found it locked the diffs well enough for crawling. Only minor situations where it would diff out. For the body I raised it straight up when building so no issues there. Don't know if you have the same problem but I find the lower front of the lexan body really thin, so I reinforced it with duct tape and a piece of styrene glued behind the body. Keep these great videos coming , 👏 👍 👍
Great! Yes - I have always found Tamiya bodies to be super-weak, so this whole body got a layer of tape right as it was being built! Hope you son has enjoyed the truck.
Agree! I am not much of a Tamiya fan, but always loved the look of this truck. Figure I will bring it to USTE with me, as it sounds like the appropriate place for it.
wow a six wheeler crawler and making it better I see often wonder why about the way they design things after your modifications seemed to cope reasonably well in the snow maybe need snow chains though he he *always fully watched👁🗨👀with a big like👍*
Yeah Troy this looks great man. Too bad those tires are a touch too big. I think they look awesome. Unfortunately improving flex isn't going to help with those big tires. But more capable? Absolutely!!. Really reminds me of those European 6x6 and some times 8x8 comp rigs that I watch. Enjoyed it bud
Unfortunately - the only bearing kit that I found was from Tamiya and cost as much as the truck itself. Instead, I found the bearing sizes and purchased them independently...
She looks yolked now Troy! Absolutely a beast!💯😊!
Yes! Thanks!
Yes! Finally the six wheel beast is back! Looks so good and your effort seems to have paid off. Good work sir.
Thanks! It did better than I expected!
Great diff locking and nice tires, cool crawling
Thanks 👍
This is always been one I wanted to customize one day nice mods

Agree - this truck has always been on my list based on how it looks.
@@RoadsideRC I have the king yellow maybe a conversion into a crawler buss would be cool
It would be!
Now that looks super fun nice snow run!🥶
Thanks 👍

That’s a pretty good amount of snow you have there in Tennessee. 👍 greetings from Michigan

It looks tuff with the TRX6 tires!! It got through the snow pretty good!
Now you need to try a set of tracks????
Oh my! Not sure my wallet could afford 6x tracks! Ha!

You got it!
A decent set of shocks would really help this truck. But I haven't seen any way to add noticeable weight to the front either.
Would YOU happen to have the bearing set number? OR are all the bearings only for the wheels?
Unfortunately - the only bearing kit that I found was from Tamiya and cost as much as the truck itself.

😁😁👍👍
Thanks!
I got some body mount extensions you could have used. Lol
But low bodies are the best! :)
@@RoadsideRC it is good to get them low
