This is such an iconic collaboration for Electronic Music. The fact that we have Paul McCartney singing on an Electronic Music record alone is the most amazing thing on Earth 🙏🏽
Well, he’s really been working on electronic music from the beginning of it, considering he prepared the tape loops for Stawberry Fields Forever and worked on most other electronic and psychedelic sounds with the Beatles, then released Temporary Secretary (which is entirely written and composed around an electronic sequence) and he’s been working with Youth on the project The Fireman since 1993 (their first album is VERY electronic). It makes a lot of sense because, since he’s been a fan of avant-garde music from the mid-60s, the next logical step would be electronic sounds as soon as the tools for it became available. But yeah, the man is always exploring and looking for the next cool thing to add to his repertoire, or fun new things to add to his music. And that is so cool of him!

This is very clever, having the legendary Macca doing not only vocals for this killer track, but appearing in the video. He's amazing, this song is great. It just has a bit of NEW in it and modern electronic music. Perfecto combo.
This is how dubstep should be, it is a pity that there is very little of this kind of music in this genre. Just awesome!

I cannot get over the fact that Paul’s been working not just on his regular rock/pop stuff but also incredible electronic music and playing with it since pretty much the moment it was really made available for studio recordings. After all, what are tape loops if not a form of electronic music? And he prepared the ones on Strawberry Fields and, presumably, worked on all the psychedelic sounds in the Beatles’ trippiest stuff, and then he just kept doing it. McCartney II comes to mind so do his collaborations with Youth on their 3 electronic albums.
I also can’t get over the fact that the Bloody Beetroots’ founder is from my town and he worked with Paul 😭😭🥹❤️

Bob asked thru a contact if he could do a track with him, Paul said "Send me something." Then bob deconstructed & reconstructed the instruments to an old Paul song and Paul immediately loved it and agreed to do it with him.
