    Thanks for this episode! We camped there with our young kids back in the 1980s and early 90s. A special place in our hearts, indeed.

      @@HikingWithShawn The campground (Oak Point) was nonelectric, there were paddle boats for rent, row boats, and the beach was well used in the summer. Like many others, we were tent campers with kids. The original shower building had one stall, which we were thrilled to have. Around 2000, we graduated to a popup, with water available off in the poison ivy. Electric was added later, so the full campers started rolling in. Nice place to camp with more conveniences now. Also hiked up signal ridge, probably mountain bike trial?
