Modern Idolatry So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. -Colossians 3:5 People get excited about a lot of things. They may not call them their gods, but in effect they are. What is the focus of your life? That, for all practical purposes, is your god. And when you come up with your own version of God, then you essentially have another god before Him. The apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Colosse, “So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming” (Colossians 3:5-6) Interestingly, Paul talked about sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. We have a sex-obsessed culture. And for some people, everything is a double entendre. Their minds are always in the gutter. Paul also warned about greed. Some people always want what others have. We might think that only those who are wealthy have a problem with idolatry. Maybe they do. And maybe they don’t. We can’t see their hearts. But we can have very little in terms of material possessions and still make an idol out of things. We don’t have to be wealthy. Sometimes we’re simply obsessed with money. The Bible says, “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10) Notice this doesn’t say that money is the root of all kinds evil. Rather, it says the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. The problem is always wanting what others have. We can make idols out of possessions. And they can become more important to us than God Himself. The Bible says, “You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him” (Matthew 4:10). He will never disappoint you. He will never let you down. But every person will in some way. Sometimes people keep us from God. A relationship pulls us away from Him, and we realize that if we really follow the Lord, we could lose our relationship that individual. Yes, we could. And it might be a choice that some of us have to make. Is someone dragging you down spiritually? Jesus said, “If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine” (Matthew 10:37) The gods we create in our minds really are not gods at all. They’re just false images that can’t do anything for us. Will those gods save you in that final day? Will those gods give you the strength you need in your moment of crisis? And will those gods forgive you of your sins? If not, they’re false gods. Turn to the true and living God.
I only remember PLAYING part 2 I think.. You know the one with the huge serpent god/demon as the final boss? Loved The story of that game.. Which part was it again?

Thai Nguyen bro.. this was a awesome video the amount of effort you put into this was crazy the humor in the texts and stuff was a really nice touch I aint played this game in a very long time and im glad I picked your video to watch
Dont dare think about it... They have hired Takeshi Kaneshiro (金城武) & Jean Reno as both protagonists in the game.. plus hired Donnie Yen as Action Director for Opening CG movie.... The repayment of Portrait Rights and other copyrights fees to these 3 big celebrities for the remake will be so damn high!

@@XLHGladiator nah after watching this I can conclude you're just a noob who are very bad at timing particularly against bazu and zombie foot soldiers. Who is the easiest to critical everytime. I can understand your hatred to towards anri character but using bich every time is unnecessary. Point is this video scks only because you can't own the easiest genma in the game that is zombie foot soldiers and noob bazu. Do a restart. Ty
Whoa, WHOA Sherlock! Calm your head, Sherlock! We still need you to solve the mysteries around the world. Now stop shaking and steady your aim ok? Focus on one subject. So, first i was a cheater (which is some people's escape route with zero evidence when they see something they can't do or can barely do with their level of skill. So they just assume anyone who plays better than them is automatically a cheater) THEN... when confronted: "you iz noob" (suddenly) XD About the in-video commentary regarding "fictional figures." That's why the warning was added at [4:41 to 4:55] for sensetive butthurt people like yourself who mix fiction with reality :) Never even said that i was the best at this game or any other game. But hey... i managed to get a perfect S rank in the highest difficulty despite being a "noob who misses easy criticals" damn that must be astonishing! :D

And done. Man, oh man, that was a lot of fun. Thank you for making this. It was great to watch. I can't believe you rendered it FIVE times. If a project this big just deleted itself on me, I would have given up and cried, so thank you again. I learned a lot from watching you play this that really made me appreciate this game a lot more. For example, I had no idea that there were special demon realms that only appeared on hard and devilish. Also, I completely agree about the ultimate weapons. They're pretty worthless in this game. At least in Onimusha 2, you could get it in time for the third fight against the giant spider guy. Once again, thanks for this man. I loved everything about it.
So glad to be watching this. 3 hours so far. This is so freaking expressive, shows how much one can be commited to an over-average walkthrough. I'm learning new things, feeling nostalgia, having fun and reading every subtitle. It's notable the work you had to put all of it together. It's respectable. Spectacular, even. You even fit Heihachi in. It's like the WHOLE GAME explained, for newcomers who have never put their eyes on it as well as experienced or middle-term players. Makes me want to see the list being updated, makes me thrill that you're not just "only critical" player. I picture that you're really playing it, challenging yourself but accepting flaws. I have never seen a better no-audio-commentary gameplay video in my life. I'm cherishing it, and I thank you for that. Now I'm going up here and see Samanosuke's first Dark Realm. You're great.
+XLHGladiator Fully watched! didn't even skip the credits XD You plan on doing Dawn of Dreams? I'd so watch it. And oh, thanks for the secret ending, I would never accomplish to finish critical training so I never knew about it! But I prefer it rather than the normal because it makes DoD more ... canon. I mean, Arin is Ako as much as Tenkai is Samanosuke right? DAYUM THAT ITEM THAT UPGRADED OVER TIME! And yeah, your tricked me with the suit upgrade XDDD

30:13 dat slap effect had me Lmfao. Good work. I loved this game and looking at what i see, i missed alot. Tbh i was really young and not that intune with things. Miss this game alot.
Watching this again in 2021 man this brings back memories watching my dad play this. For a 2004 game this is just amazing quality that can’t be compared to these days, and props to your edit good sir I appreciate the effort.
Damn bro you almost have playing this game down to an art form. Love the running commentary too XD. Well it's took nearly 3 days worth of viewing sessions but I got to the end, GG!
thank you so much for this amazing video. I loved watching it all the way through, I didn't find ako to be that annoying though, she's just the usual happy anime type girl as usual.
Thank you for watching! I'm just over exaggerating in the text commentary for the lolz ^^; I find her annoying but it's not a game changer for me at all.
So many memories, I remember playing this game a ton back in the days, could never achieve a level of skill that's anywhere near yours though, so thanks for the amazing display, great work on the editing too, that's some serious dedication right there. ^_^

XLHGladiator Promote your channel and video uploads on game forums and put tags and give it a great description. Put time stamps in the description like boss fights and important stages where you could find valuable items in the game like the I forget what you call it the bonus that makes your life and magic longer.
I do that sometimes in the description. But forums and other discussion websites, i don't go to those anymore... I used to, back in 2003-2006 with my dial-up connection XD Don't you worry, i'm actually pretty ok with what my channel have now. Of course, i appreciate all people who share my stuff with other gamers anywhere else.
XLHGladiator I am very happy someone made a long play of this game! Among action adventures kind of beat em up like genre Onimusha is my favorite and also Yakuza no matter what they say that its controls is very similar to Resident Evil and slow pace fighting compared to Devil May Cry and God Of War that is unrealistic fighting and fast with combos. In your opinion Which is Better Onimusha, Devil May Cry, God Of War or Shadow Of Rome? You think Capcom will make Onimusha 5 - 7 for the Playstation 4? Onimusha: Warlords and Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny are the best in the series! For me Oni Dreams sucks big time and their time skip of the story really sucks! Onimusha 3: Demon Siege, I don't like its time travel story and having a past and modern present Onimusha to and interchanging time to go back to the past and present to fight the Genma. I dislike the Tengu Ako they make it a little fantasy like story. It doesn't feel like your playing a real Samurai Japanese game! Well Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is the best for me! I've finished it a lot of times! What are your thoughts to all of the Onimusha games including Onimusha: Blade Warriors in Japanese if I am correct Onimusha Buraiden or Onimusha Gaiden.
Cute Filipino DMC3 had the best combat and still No.1 for me until this day. Other DMC games are mediocre at best... so my answer to your question is, DMC3. Can't compare the whole series to the other games you've mentioned. For example, i like Onimusha 3 more than DMC4. The story of Oni3 is so bad, no question about it. But i like its combat the most. Oni2 is my second favorite if not on par with Oni3. But that gift giving was bothering me when i was playing Oni2. I would like to get my whole moves by upgrading my weapons not by randomly giving gifts to people. I have only played the original series, Oni1, 2, 3 and Down of Dreams. The first one was probably my least favorite. I do hope, Capcom would make a new Onimusha game one day, but even if they didn't, i got Nioh to keep me excited... it's going to release next year ^^
Finally finished watching and i must really commend on your commitment making this video.I have this game and had my fun time. But you make it very impressive.Certainly looking forward to your future project!*Thumbs up*
AFAIK in the first battle against ranmaru if you turn into Onimusha all normal attacks become critical hits i usually do than then then equip the Shippu since its the fastest weapon samanosuke has but anyways amazing run perfect for a classic such as this
At 5:06:48 -- does Devilish difficulty make maxing out the weapons cost more souls? I'm a delicate babby who only played the Easy level, but i feel like I was able to max all Jacques' weapons after grinding the huge battleground before you fight Oda's wife.
You are awesome! I found your Nioh videos first and now I see you've played my other favourite game. I love the funny comments you've added to the video.
Forever ago I was a big fan of play through videos by Louis Chou. His playing style is satisfying to watch. I've especially loved his Resident Evil videos but I believe you like his Onimusha 3 set: ua-cam.com/play/PLA162801DB0A2BAB7.html
An 8 hours video from a youtube channel with the best commentary ever, doing one of the most awesome game ever? Couldn't ask for more! XD And this also explains why there aren't new videos for a while since Vergil's last DMD run :3 A great surprise, thanks!
Man, I have so many fond memories of this game. This is an amazing play through and the text commentary is hilarious. And while the music is great, it is very repetitive and quickly becomes highly annoying. I hope that one day Capcom would either remake the trilogy or reboot the franchise.
7:49:23 In my case, he started using elements on Devilish, but only after third bit breaks, so long as his health didn't get drained. Perhaps that was done quickly without allowing him to do so.
The fact that this was posted in 2016 puts a big smile on my face
I love that you don't use glitches to make the game easier, a lot more fun to watch a legitimate run. Love the videos you make and can't wait for more.
Thank you for your support!

Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming”
(Colossians 3:5-6)
Interestingly, Paul talked about sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires.
And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows”
(1 Timothy 6:10)
Notice this doesn’t say that money is the root of all kinds evil.

One of the best games ever. Look, the quality for PS2 graphics is amazing.
2019 best game ever
GOTY 2019
Onimusha 3 should get at least a remake
Now we have Warlords, that could be a good start.
It's a boring game. You can actually win this way easier using that girl character.

So, first i was a cheater (which is some people's escape route with zero evidence when they see something they can't do or can barely do with their level of skill. So they just assume anyone who plays better than them is automatically a cheater) THEN... when confronted: "you iz noob" (suddenly) XD
About the in-video commentary regarding "fictional figures."
That's why the warning was added at [4:41 to 4:55] for sensetive butthurt people like yourself who mix fiction with reality :)
Never even said that i was the best at this game or any other game. But hey... i managed to get a perfect S rank in the highest difficulty despite being a "noob who misses easy criticals" damn that must be astonishing! :D
Watching you playing with such a mystery was a unique performance, great work

one of my dream a perfect guide for oni 3 . great bro
Oi... Mr.Shocked! XD
Congrats for finishing the video and thank you for your comments... glad you enjoyed ^_^
Welcome, man! ^^
I hope you enjoy the rest of the video... take care, man.
+XLHGladiator Fully watched! didn't even skip the credits XD
You plan on doing Dawn of Dreams? I'd so watch it. And oh, thanks for the secret ending, I would never accomplish to finish critical training so I never knew about it! But I prefer it rather than the normal because it makes DoD more ... canon.
I mean, Arin is Ako as much as Tenkai is Samanosuke right?
DAYUM THAT ITEM THAT UPGRADED OVER TIME!
And yeah, your tricked me with the suit upgrade XDDD
Renato Silva de Souza Congrats on finishing the video :D
I'm not sure about DoD yet, but i might decide after playing Oni2.
Cheers, man.
No problem, man and glad you had fun.
I'll think about DoD after i play Onimusha 2, which is still not 100% decided, yet :p but hopefully...

Sometimes people keep us from God. A relationship pulls us away from Him, and we realize that if we really follow the Lord, we could lose our relationship that individual. Yes, we could. And it might be a choice that some of us have to make.
Is someone dragging you down spiritually? Jesus said, “If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine”
(Matthew 10:37)
The gods we create in our minds really are not gods at all. They’re just false images that can’t do anything for us. Will those gods save you in that final day? Will those gods give you the strength you need in your moment of crisis? And will those gods forgive you of your sins?
If not, they’re false gods. Turn to the true and living God.
Perfect guide, thank you bro 😊
You're welcome and thanks for watching!
I can't belive I just watched an 8 hour game video XD But the story/gameplay and your running commentary made it so compelling :)
Hey! Thanks! Glad you enjoyed that ^-^
I sure did! It was awesome ^^ And PLEASE do a Onimusha 2 video with commentary like this one! It's my favorite in the series ^^
This is awesome, make me want to play onimusha again
I cracked up when you said "this bitch is suspicious..." XD
Jaq said that XD
Many, many thanks for the effort put in, from subtitles to the gameplay.
Thanks for watching ^w^
You is awesome, congratulations!
I love it yours commentaries, hahahaha!
Thank you for watching!

Promote your channel and video uploads on game forums and put tags and give it a great description. Put time stamps in the description like boss fights and important stages where you could find valuable items in the game like the I forget what you call it the bonus that makes your life and magic longer.
I do that sometimes in the description. But forums and other discussion websites, i don't go to those anymore... I used to, back in 2003-2006 with my dial-up connection XD
Don't you worry, i'm actually pretty ok with what my channel have now. Of course, i appreciate all people who share my stuff with other gamers anywhere else.

I am very happy someone made a long play of this game!
I do hope, Capcom would make a new Onimusha game one day, but even if they didn't, i got Nioh to keep me excited... it's going to release next year ^^
Dude...you are an absolute BEAST!!!
Lol the '' -______- '' made my day, I laughed so hard
Finally finished watching and i must really commend on your commitment making this video.I have this game and had my fun time. But you make it very impressive.Certainly looking forward to your future project!*Thumbs up*
Thank you for watching, newcomer ^_^
Such effort put into this. I praise thee
Thank you for watching!
Oh, man, I can't believe someone actually remembers this AWESOME game!!! Thanks!!!
Samanosuke returns in Onimusha 4
he called himself Tenkai and is playable with the Main Characters
But his combat sucks i hate using tenkai, i used him to pray when his on my party
Just finished my First S rank run in literal years on normal.
Cant wait to do my own Devilish run. I love this game so much.
3:08:03 Where i can get this perfect instrumental alternative song?
If memory serves... that's from Onimusha Down of Dreams.
Tenkai's theme
wow all these years and i just realized the voice actor of nobunaga is the same one as blackbeard in onepiece
One of the best f***ing intros in videogame history
AFAIK in the first battle against ranmaru if you turn into Onimusha all normal attacks become critical hits i usually do than then then equip the Shippu since its the fastest weapon samanosuke has but anyways amazing run perfect for a classic such as this
Thanks!
You should have spoken this comments instead of writing them, I lost an entire day of work just watching this whole video for the funny comments.
I appreciate your time :D
At 5:06:48 -- does Devilish difficulty make maxing out the weapons cost more souls? I'm a delicate babby who only played the Easy level, but i feel like I was able to max all Jacques' weapons after grinding the huge battleground before you fight Oda's wife.
Really enjoyable to watch c: I've spent a few days watching it in parts but good job!
Congrats for finishing it. Thanks for watching! :)
You are awesome! I found your Nioh videos first and now I see you've played my other favourite game. I love the funny comments you've added to the video.
Thank you for checking this out! :)
Forever ago I was a big fan of play through videos by Louis Chou. His playing style is satisfying to watch. I've especially loved his Resident Evil videos but I believe you like his Onimusha 3 set: ua-cam.com/play/PLA162801DB0A2BAB7.html
This longplay is crazy excelent! It's... devilish! Pun intended
Thanks, man! :)
8:05:26 Something tells me Nobunaga isn't finished......yet.
Nope. Nobunaga was sealed in Samanosuke's gauntlet. Hideyoshi is secondary boss in Onimusha Dawn of Dreams
Funny Cat what if he get release again in the onimusha 5 or 6 from the gauntlet from the one soki weared in the dark world
Man, much respect for getting Rank S in Devilish mode. Was fun to watch :)
Thank you! Glad you liked it ^^'
An 8 hours video from a youtube channel with the best commentary ever, doing one of the most awesome game ever? Couldn't ask for more! XD
And this also explains why there aren't new videos for a while since Vergil's last DMD run :3
A great surprise, thanks!
Thank you! Have fun c:
Samanosuke picks up the phone because his RPG senses are tingling.
The opening cutscene sold me this game - even though the in game graphics were pretty sad in comparison, the gameplay was very good.
the action for samanosuke's mocap was donnie yen (of Ip Man fame)
Onimusha 3 had the most awesome boss costume ever
at 55:33 isn't that RE 4 soundtrack?😂 cause it's kinda same
now i have the urge to play this again.
You really got me there where you wanted to upgrade armour! Lol. Awesome vid! Such great work.... I watched it in one go!
Thank you, I hope you had lots of fun ^^
XLHGladiator i sure did :). Would you play the first two aswell....maybe?
This is an incredibly well made and well-thought out video
Much appreciated ^^
Great guide, thanks. And also thanks for the fighting technique, perfect.
I thought I was good at onimusha until I watched this lol great run man!
Thank you for watching!
"She died because that fat ass of his squished her to death during that accident" OMFG HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
My favorite franchise of games of all time along with Devil May cry and metal gear
Dude, you are a beast in this game!
Thank you very much!
Man, I have so many fond memories of this game. This is an amazing play through and the text commentary is hilarious. And while the music is great, it is very repetitive and quickly becomes highly annoying. I hope that one day Capcom would either remake the trilogy or reboot the franchise.
Thank you for watching and i'm glad you enjoyed it!
You put alot of effort on this video. Love it! Thumbs up ^^
Thank you for watching ^^
this deserves a lot more views, goddamn...
Thank you for viewing. I honestly never expected it to reach 100k when i made it. Thanks a lot to all of you who watched, rewatched and shared :)
this dark realm music is so awesome makes me wanna play onimusha dawn of dreams
WATCHING THIS AGAIN BECAUSE ONIMUSHA IS ALIVE
Great video! Freakin A!!
Onimusha 3 is always awesome! One of my favorites!
Thank you for watching ^^

In my case, he started using elements on Devilish, but only after third bit breaks, so long as his health didn't get drained. Perhaps that was done quickly without allowing him to do so.
Anyone here IN 2020?One of the best games ever made!
