Wow, thank you, Boom, for this video. I feel deeply identified with your values of sustainability, awareness and love for Mother Nature and one another. Thank you for the reforestation at Idanha. And as a portuguese I am proud of this festival. You are showing Portugal to the world on a different and normally unknown level and the portuguese people is opening their minds to other cultures, other ways of living. That's evolution. Thank you! And I am a photographer and I just realised that I would love to become part of the Boom Festival family as a photographer one day.

Nunca fui ao Boom, provavelmente nunca irei, não creio que seja a minha onda, embora tenha visto coisas muito giras, em geral e em especial a parte mais artística a que se abriu nas edições mais recentes, tal como refere o Mário Belém. O documentário é excelente na forma como mostra o nascimento e as dores de crescimento deste Festival até ao estado maturo que hoje vive. Gostei de ver como as pessoas o vivem e se divertem, nao acho estranho, apenas diferente do que busco para mim. Sucesso para a edição 2019!

Absolutely brilliant movie and even better Festival. I've started going to Boom in 2006 and i imediatelly fell in love with it so I tried to go to every edition since then, but unfortunately I missed the last three editions of the festival because it became so hard to get tickets. I'm hoping the Boom team will improve on this subject. This movie moved me a lot and caused me goosebumps like no other. I will try to show it to as many people as I can. I would like to personally thank Zen Baboon for his amazing work with the soundtrack. I wonder if he can share the Track list used if possible. Thanks again to all the Boomers and the Boom Team! We are one!
The only festival I’ve been to where they put their money where their mouth is: ultra minimal wastage ( I barely eve saw litter )… everything is done to make sure you recycle and food outlets serve with minimal packaging and all compatible. The toilets were all eco sawdust compost toilets and they never smelled bad or overflowed. I love sitting on the toilets having some me time and watching the patterns on the plywood morph into geometric beauty , breathing the life force of nature into my moment
Fantástico documentário muitos parabéns. E ainda bem que muito começou no Alcântara-Mar a discoteca de eleição da musica electrónica na cidade de Lisboa. O que vós consideram as festas da mata eram também as da Herdade da Marateca ? A 1ª x que ouvi trance psicadélico foi algures em 1996/7 Xenomorph que também vi no Boom 2002 :) Por isso obrigado por colocarem Portugal no mapa com um festival que já é uma marca !
Seeing the thousands of young energetic people participating, seeing them all in the big tent, the thought comes to me: these people could change the world. The question that follows: will they?

What I ask is basically: do these people maintain connections after they leave to affect significant changes? The world is in crisis, as you know.
Big Boom love! I know it's got to have a mainstream lineup that appeals to more nooby partiers who maybe haven't seen half these artists dozens of times, but please next Boom can we actually represent the huge global subscene that prefers trippier music? There was barely any forest or dark prog the last four Booms and 2018 was the worst of the lost line-up wise with hardly any high tempo music at all.
I found that there was a pretty solid selection of darker/faster artists playing mainstage after 1am , but obviously just my opinion I had a great first Boom in 2018, great vibes everywhere, something for everyone musically :)
