- LEGO Star Wars nearly made a ZETA-CLASS SHUTTLE set in 2016, but they decided Direcor Krennic's Imperial Shuttle was a better idea. And it was. Many people still want a LEGO ZETA-CLASS SHUTTLE though and Republic Bricks might have the answer for you. (Set sent to me for free)

4:59 the 1/4 tile piece now exists in translucent light blue. (April 2022) but RB released this set in 2021. I sent feedback to him, it’s getting changed.
hey mandr i live in australia and i only ever got two 501st battle packs and haven’t seen them on shelves since december 2020 and scalpers on ebay are selling them for 65-90$AUD. also someone i know found an opened v-19 torrent and AAT From 2008-2009 among ninjago things

So true. I was so disappointed Lego didn't release a version of it. Maybe we'll still get one if Andor continues and it shows up there a bit more. But this set looks OK and if I lived in America I'ld probably hand over $300 USD no questions asked, but convert to Australian dollars and then add shipping to Australia and I just couldn't do it.
Too ungly and big I think was the reason this was not made. Not desirable design by children.

Ok so upon further investigation Timmy’s set came out in 2021. The piece in Trans Light Blue didn’t exist until April 2022.

I'd love to see this made into an official set. It's a shame that all the new stuff only gets a wave or two when it comes out then Lego goes back to OT.

I built the minifig scale version from brickvault. I can guarantee that the zeta shuttle is worth every dollar of pieces. Cost me $500 of pieces and then the remaining from around my own collection. Pretty easy build if you got a lot of grey pieces and definitely recommend you try. Took around 8 months to do since I got school but if you put your mind it could take a week or two. Its huge and by far my favorite star wars ship to date.
I’m trying to custom build one right now, definitely going to be a mix of the one in this video and the brickvault one, but I’m not crazy about the brick-built wings. I’m going to try plate-built wings like on actual Lego set shuttles
This is beautiful, I think $300 is a very reasonable price for it, and if I were in the US I’d definitely consider getting it.
I agree with you in that custom sets shine the best when they do something Lego hasn’t, and this is probably the best option for someone wanting a Zeta-Class Shuttle
If you got money to throw around,
go get the brick vault one
Its costly,
But you will enjoy every single day of owning it
These custom sets are so cool but if your buying international the shipping is just too expensive on top

As great as this model is I have had terrible experiences with RB. Ive gotten about a few of these types of sets every time it’s always come with not the right amount of pieces and when I reach out either it takes a long time to get them or I don’t get a response, I’d resort to my own parts to fill it. On top of other things as well.
I still haven’t even gotten a set that I ordered

If Lego Revisits Rogue One this has to be in the lineup!
While there are so many other UCS sets I want over this, something similar to this would not be a bad set
I love Rouge One to death and I wish the Zeta Class Shuttle was made. I hope it appears in some form of future Star Wars thing so that I can be made
If the bottom was made with more Technic and made to pop out with a bar stud and made a little more Technic all over and not as ridged with the wings it would be a lot more better by using less joints it would move a lot more easily
Or maybe some mechanism like the 2021 Imperial Shuttle has with the pin that pops out.
I mentioned this on another post only the day - surprised that it has never featured as a Lego set. Great design, can be an impressive size, still playscale with a full interior - and imagine the roster of minifigs! Even though they do not feature in this part of the film, would be a great opportunity to include a Saw Guerrera & Benthic minifigs which were criminally absent from the Lego range at the time. Also Mon Mothma, Melshi - so many options!!
Along with the Original trilogy Rebel Troop transport - this would be a great set!
The cargo deck is meant to be detachable the ship in universe would drop it off wherever needed.

A model where putting it in flight mode is a recommended two man job lol.
The cousin to the imperial shuttle, honestly this could be a 200 dollar ship and serve to be the big set in a given wave, obviously itd have to be in a scared scene with maybe 1-2 shore troopers, bodi rook, 3 rebels, and imperial ship inspector and maybe an officer. That’s just an idea for minifig selection but obliviously we’d want more than 8 or maybe that’s the ideal number. Either way a huge miss and I’d love to see its eventual introduction into lego Star Wars.
If it was the big $170 set in the summer wave it would forever be legendary.

For 300 dollars and a very nice display design, this is the first custom set I am seriously considering buying
I adore Director Krennic Shuttle but my Imperial Army needs the Zeta Class Transport Shuttle.
Lego should make one soon and have most of the minifigs to be (printing wise) similar to the original Rogue One minifigures just so there's some consistency. Minifigs should be a remake of Bodhi Rook, Melshi for the first time, Stordan Tonc (the soldier that was with Bodhi) and two other rebel soldiers, with three to four stormtroopers and an officer.
The minifigure potential for this set is immense.

This is the first set I've wanted from Republic Bricks, they do good work and all but the prices are just out of my budget. This set looks so cool though, I would totally buy it if I could.

I mean, in the RB Inquisitor Transport they actually used the exact same method to attach the wings. Though, Ryan didn't notice in his review and credited the RB designers 🤣.

👀 I don't know, but 300 bucks with a lot of flaws, and you can't play with it. These custom sets are expensive and with the issues they bring, especially just to display the set. You can spend that money with Lego, and you have the option to display or play. Lego still beating the custom sets, and they're not even trying, lol. These custom creators really need to step up their game. Great review video, as always ✌️🤓👍
If lego joined w Republic Bricks they could probably make a lot of money
to fix the bendy wings you need to replace the tecnic with the blue longer ones
After having Krenic’s set for years, I don’t like it that much. The wings aren’t as long as they should be so when you compare it to the real model it looks kinda lame looking.
This would make a great one-off UCS set like the Razorcrest. Unfortunately, I could see them waiting 4 years to release it for a 10th anniversary.

That's actually an amazing value on a custom set. Just the time to order and sort out 2000 pieces is huge. Let alone design, combining orders, warranty, retail overhead, etc.

I did not having a pleasant buying experience from Republic Bricks in the past but the custom ship looks nice tho, but never again. lol
The Zeta Class quickly became one of my favorite ships after Rogue One, I would love to see an official Lego release of a Zeta class, especially if they decided to go the route of making it a UCS set. The nice part is that in terms of minifigs I would expect them to go with the full Rogue One (Jyn, Cassian, K2, Chirut, Baze, & Bodi) as well as 2 or 3 rebel fighters *or* they could make it an imperial crew and we could maybe get a pilot, a KX security droid, an officer, deck technician and maybe 2 or 3 shore troopers. Either way I think going the route of UCS works best with this ship and the expectations the fans have for it.

I saw a Rex helmet on it in the Thumbnail and was confused, until I was like "oh".
I'm very surprised some of the other republic bricks sets just look like Mocs which is fine but like the venator for instance uses some strange building techniques and didn't look super sturdy especially for the price but this set actually looks like it has the sort of design and durability that proper sturdy Lego set would have which is really cool if I have more money in the future this would be the sort of thing I would get from republic bricks nice job republic bricks

I bought one of these of eBay a while ago, but can't remember who produced it, and it's no longer for sale there (I just checked). I think it cost $180. Still haven't finished assembling it. It was missing some pieces (far fewer than some of the official Lego sets I've purchased new have left out) that were available through Lego, so that was okay. I did actually contact the seller about the missing pieces and they told me they would send me anything I needed, but I never bothered. The instructions are very strangely ordered. They will have you building along and all of a sudden you are instructed to leave an empty space between a couple bricks. A number of steps later, you have to add something in that space, which means you have to dismantle the last few steps you've taken, because the bricks are interlocked with each other. You get used to that after a while and learn to foresee it is happening before you continue building in that area. This vid has inspired me to return to the build.

The reason LEGO didn’t make that set is that it’s one of the uglier ships in the Lego Universe. For what they would’ve had to charge for that thing ; people would’ve only bought it for probably for the mini figures or the grey parts.
