Level of deliciousness of food that Mark eats: Nods head + open eyes: Coffee or the food is okay. Closed eyes: "The food is good." Closed eyes + swaying of head: "Ohh, that is really great." Closed eyes + swaying of head + right part of body going down: "Ohh that is incredible/amazing."
Truth be known he doesn't have a high tolerance, chile eaters doesn't have a high tolerance to see how many they can eat some has gotten sick if eaten to many
I had been to Bhutan in 2010, and I was simply blown away. It is incredible. The extent the people and rulers of Bhutan go to, to preserve the environment and their way of life is really admirable
Who else gets so much education just from watching these videos? You see what it's really like all around the world, not just how the media portrays different countries. It's amazing honestly
Your description of how the food tastes makes me salivate, I want to experience the flavours of the food you're eating I've never watched a food critic as descriptive as you, thumbs up like always
Always love to see you and your videos, Mark. Great job. Main thing is that you focus on all the spheres of travelling including food, the tastes, the prices, the hotels you visit, the places and stuff. Your personal experience really makes it awesome man. Keep it up😊
Bro Mark I'm really impressed by your enthusiasm of food... But most of all by your smile because it brings warmed to oneself... Love from Manipur,India 🇮🇳
I love the expression on his face after every bite. Some time I do it as well unintentionally while watching him, Mark has an art of hypnotism to their viewers 😍.
Hi Mark... I am big gan of yours... I just watch your videos every night when i return back from work ....After watching your videos i feel so relaxed & energetic ...I am also a big foodie person & also like spicy foods like you...Thanx for entertaining us in such a grt way....Keep posting more blogs...All the best
Thoroughly enjoying your sojourns to these different regions and giving us an education into cuisines that we might otherwise be overlooked, also I am in stitches at your rapturous facial responses when ingesting a tasty mouthful, later on this month we will be on our way to Marrakesh for 4 days, can you recommend any great eateries around Jamaa El Fna, or is it a case of just sticking with the street food?
Hey John, thank you very much, really appreciate it. Glad you'll be going to Marrakesh soon, unfortunately I've never been there (though I'd love to go). Hopefully someone here can help you out? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Thank you Mark, I'm sure there will be a flood of responses, whilst we are there we will photographing every dish that passes in front of us with accompanying descriptions and ingredients and facial expressions I'm sure, I'm ok in Morocco as I do speak a smattering of French, incidentally my wife, Emilie is from the Philippines but she is slightly annoyed you haven't visited Cebu which is a major island and seaport City in the central Visayan region, they do the best Lechon in the Philippines which is to die for. Also if you are in Malaysia in the future, please visit the seaport of Melaka, which was a major trading post for the Dutch and Portuguese, and latterly the China which has left its mark on the culture, when you are there please visit Jonker 88 which is a very popular café on the Jonker walk, loads to see and do there! facebook.com/pages/Jonker-street-88-cendol-Melaka/158278667564644?ref=br_rs
Maybe you're right M A, but I'm thoroughly enjoying watching Mark Wiens' foodologies. I've only started my regular annual health fast. This is day 7. Watching such lovely foods, sights and peoples is energizing - I don't feel hungry, but I'm getting a bit of an education and getting new ideas on healthy cooking and dining once my several weeks long fast ends. Cheers, and thanks to Marks & family!
I think that every country should employ Mark and family to come visit to promote their culture. Mark allows us to experience the people, the locations we normally would not see, and enjoy their foods. For me, food represents the history of each culture. I thoroughly enjoy seeing each spoon full of food, learn about its texture smell taste and combinations of ingredients. Mark ensures he does not insult cultural table manners, and serving methods. Each spoon full of food, with Mark is a true culinary adventure. I am licking my computer. Thanks Mark! Canada loves you.
Mark Wiens. One word for you man.Awesome.Your enthusiasm and the way you present simply motivates one to travel and explore these places.Dude you are just awesome.I always click like before i watch the videos. And the facial expresion when you taste something awesome is just incredible..

One of my favorite times of the day are getting a plate of food and sitting down and watching your videos.
Lol. Because not eating is a bad Idea. ..
Sameee
You can measure the goodness of the dish by the amount Mark tilts to the right after eating it.
Thanks Mark for another culinary journey from Bhutan and showing us what is around in Thimphu as well.
Your description of how the food tastes makes me salivate, I want to experience the flavours of the food you're eating I've never watched a food critic as descriptive as you, thumbs up like always

If you are going to watch the video anyway why not wait until you have actually seen it, rather than giving an insincere thumbs up. You are a phony.
I love how you mentioned Nepali fireball pickles and now I need to educate myself about Bhutan and the influence of Nepali culture
You really make me salivate when ever I watch your program. Awesome video.
so glad you love our dish. :). just love watching you enjoy chillies. ❤
Bhutanese food looks amazing! Great series, Mark! I'm so glad that you finally got to post this. :)
I have never watched anybody eat with so much love for the food!
That fireball. First time I've ever seen you decline eating a whole chili. Must be insane heat in that.

When ever he eats his reaction is the same to each food
Excellent videos Mark. Really enjoying watching everyday in the evenings
i can't even eat a simple green chilli , how u manage to eat so many red ones i don't know 😱 x
We are professionals
The red ones in this video are more fragrant than spicy other than the fireball chili.
Loving the regular uploads! Can't wait for more of Bhutan!
My dream, May be, one day Mark will visit in Bangladesh. It would be very pleased.
His expression on tasting of food is very nice which is more than delicious of such food.

That home cooked-style meal looked absolutely incredible Mark! Even though I'm stuffed with Nam Tok Neua, you still managed to spark my appetite! How spicy were the fireballs compared to Thai Bird's Eye Chili?
That sounds good too Emil, thank you. I think fireballs are similar in spice to Thai bird's eye, but they might sometimes be spicier.
Thats great in Bhutan people can eat beef 🍖🥓🥩 freely....
