After watching season 1 i was addicted and binge watch all 15 seasons in 4 months .Also i bought alot off books and merchandise from Supernatural. Also i watcht Supernatural convention vid's on UA-cam and other content. Love the SPNFamily so i understand the feeling 😊❤Greetings from the Netherlands.
It's hard for me to pick a favourite.. I think the pilot would be my favourite episode of season 1. Just because it is such a great introduction to the characters and the world and gets you instantly hooked.. I watched it when it aired, late at night alone in the dark living room while everyone else was already asleep, I will never forget it.. Favourite moment might be when Dean stands up to his dad for the first time ever in dead man's blood.. Since he was always going yes sir before, but now through the experiences he had with his brother he finally allowed himself to have an opinion..
PLEASE watch the bloopers for each season if you can … SPN is known for its gag reals… it’s honestly so fun to see what a family it’s like on set and how much fun it is bc of Jared and Jensen… and they’re even closer than Sam and Dean lol they’re blood brothers !!

Bobby is the MAN!!! This show knows how to put on a season finale! This was a great episode! I didn't start watching this when it first came out! I found it in reruns. I had to get Netflix so I could start from the beginning & binge it. I still watch over & over. Season 2 starts all the original music they used. The sound track makes it eve better because it is all the music Dean likes. I loved your reaction! On a sad note ..Nicki Aycox, who played Meg passed away in November, 2022. She was 47 & had leukemia. So very sad. RIP Nicki. From Cora's granddaughter.
YES!!! Bobby coming in and saving the day haha. They truly knows how to finish a show with a bang, to say the least! I definitely think that this will be a series that I come back to and re-watch after finishing it. It's so good.I'm excited to finally get to hear the correct music for the show.

It would have been so difficult haha!
It actually made watching the series even better because we had to wait so the premiere of the next season had that much more of a buildup and anticipation about it. Especially those of us who taped the episodes and rewatched them over the summer which is what I did every season in the Kripke and some of the earlier post-Kripke seasons when the show was still good. It was also crazy at times because there were points where we had no idea if the series would be renewed for another season. I remember when the strike was happening during season 3 and the series was in question how in the forums at Kryptonsite there were spoilers of the series ending with Dean in hell forever and Sam using his demon powers after the season 3 finale as a makeshift ending that would replace the intended 5 season ending Kripke wanted & planned. But thankfully it was renewed so that didn't happen. It was an awesome experience chatting about all the possibilities in real time with fellow fans in the forums as the series aired, especially in its earliest of days and even later on. Especially when the conventions started happening around the end of the 5th season and a huge revelation about a character was made by the actor who played the character after Kripke revealed it to that actor. The actor revealed it at one of those conventions that happened in the summer after season 5 concluded and it made its way to the forums and we all could see how & why that was the case about the character.
I was left with my mouth open when watching the end of this one. The way it ended was so out of nowhere that I had no idea what to think and it left the series at a point where anything could happen in season 2's premiere. I had the same reaction with the season 3 finale of Smallville (another great series especially in its first 3 seasons).
Welcome to the Supernatural ending cliffhangers. Imagine waiting months to get season 2. Buckle up.

In the American version, the cliffhanger song was 'Bad Moon Rising' by "Creedence Clearwater Revival"

Yeah the writers, actors, crew etc. didn't know if the show would be renewed for season 2. Every year they filmed not knowing if there would be next season.
There was a threat of cancellation all the time. But after season 6 and later things got better, and it became clear that ifJared and Jensen wanted to do the show it would continue as long as they wanted it to. So in 2019 the boys decided to finish the show on season 15.
In later seasons Jared and Jensen were called "The kings of CW" because they got paid so much more than all the other lead actors on CW shows, because Supernatural was/is the oldest CW show and it's even older than CW itself (first season aired on The WB Television Network, CW didn't even exist then). It's the longest running US sci-fi TV show of all time.
Imagine making that last scene not knowing if there will be any answers, whaa! It's wild how long this show is, but I am happy they managed to keep it going for 15 seasons!
Your initiation into the Family is now complete. That first finale and the 3 1/2 or so months long wait for the next episode is the beginning of so many fans life changes,lol. Yellow-eyed demon was terrifying to me in this Jeff did a great job, and then the torment from the boys... yeah I do not think I had ever experienced a scene like that in my life to that point.
Hahha did I complete the test? 🥰 I am so happy I only had to wait a week, waiting for months would have been so hard. I also think Jeff did a fantastic job, you could see how it really was a different character. This scene was truly something else!!
People who watch the show now for the first time have all the seasons out already. But can you imagine watching this when it came out? This cliffhanger ending would kill me...

I was so excited to see this pop up on my page! This episode is amazing! So many twists and turns and heartbreaking moments! I'll try to answer some of your questions that you had.
What happens to the demons when they leave the vessel? (Or "meat suit" as it's referred to on the show! 😬)
In the case of the meg demon, because the boys exorcised it, that sent it back to hell. It doesn't kill the demon, but it removes it from walking the earth. The demon could get out again, but the lore is that it's very tough to do for an ordinary demon. When it comes to the Yellow-Eyed Demon (YED) it left John's body voluntarily because it had been hurt, but it wasn't sent back to hell, so it can move around earth and find another meat suit to possess.
What happened to the dog?
I prefer to believe that the dog merely ran away, but I don't think that's what the show was implying. But it's too ick to think about so - nope! Puppy's fine!
When Dean was thrown across the room by Meg, how did he just get up, wasn't he knocked out?
I think they were trying to fool her, make her think she was backing them into a corner, when really, they were luring her into the Devil's Trap. So, I think Dean was faking being unconcious to make her think he was "out of the way" and then go after Sam and Bobby so she'd end up where they wanted her. Sucka!! 😜

When it comes to whether or not they should have exorcised the Meg demon, leading to the human Meg dying, I was 100% with Dean. And I think human Meg was too. She had to watch while the demon murdered people, completely unable to move her own body. That's a special kind of hell, I couldn't imagine. So, I think freeing her from that nightmare, as she called it, was definitely the right thing to do. Poor Meg! 😔
This ending is unbelievable. I didn't start the show till just before the pandemic, so I never had to wait between seasons which I am eternally grateful for! Cause, I couldn't imagine waiting the FIVE months between the end of S1 and the start of S2!! So happy that all I had to do was click on the next episode immediately! Lol! Although, I do think it might have been fun to experience the show from its beginnings, and watch the series unravel in real time. But thank goodness for streaming sites!
I highly recommend you watch (and please react to!) the gag reel after each season - they are so enjoyable, and actually a big part of the fandom. It will also help you start to get to know Jared and Jensen a bit and see how funny they are together! I see someone linked it for you below, which is awesome. Just be careful, whatever you do, don't read the comments after the video. And try not to notice any of the "suggested videos" just in case. People are usually pretty good at keeping spoilers out of video titles, but you never know.

@@CoraReacts the gag reels are fairly short.. under 10 minutes for the first few. You have about another season and a half before you can watch any of the convention videos without being spoiled.
Another tip.. when you watch the gag reel, go full screen quickly so the right side panel list of suggestions doesn't tempt you into spoiling your own self.

Great reaction! Also THAT ending, it absolutely crazy. When I got this season on dvd after watching TWD season 7, I was like, okay. I'll get the first season and if I don't like it, I don't have to watch the rest. But I end up buying season 2 the VERY next day!

This was such an amazing season finale! The wait was horrible too! Season 2 was not finalized. The action was great, and the emotion. I wanted to scream when Dean realized his dad was possessed because his dad was nice! It made me rabid!
Patron is great, though I can't afford much, so I am picky of who I do follow. Full watch along reactions are cool and the biggest reason I usually subscribe. Polls and input into content are cool. If you have long editing turn around early releases are cool. I think it is easier on watch alongs are easier, because minimal editing. Also wondering if you have a mod on here for spoilers? Bc excited fans can accidentally let things slip. It might be a good idea
It really is!! It was mindbogglingly good, horrible, funny, surprising, beautiful and sad haha. All at the same time! If I was not in from of a microphone I think I would have screamed. Especially when Sam is holding the Colt and both Dean and their dad is yelling at him two not do it / do it!!

If I end up making one I would not be sad if people choose not to follow over there, I will still make content here and for those who want to I'll of course be very grateful! I would definitely put full reactions with a timer on there and potentially polls in the future. Does anyone know why they changed the song at the end? that was not at all
S1 Carry On Wayward Son is played before the penultimate episode, 1x21. It isn't until S2 that they start using it before every finale. Also, outside of the States all the music for S1 is changed. It's kind of annoying! But starting in S2 it's good again. 😊

The song is supposed to be "Bad Moon Rising" but it's some weird replacement song. 🙄 The funny thing is when you watch her reaction to S2, at the very beginning as the driver leaves the truck it is actually playing Bad Moon Rising. So, the music is correct going forward. 😊
Yeah I think it is a Linda mentioned, I am watching this on HBO where season one is missing a lot of the actual songs. And I think the US and EU also had some differences for some reason!
