You may not have sold $40 dragons, but that what drew people in to buy less expensive items. Always good to have premium items on display. One of your guardian swords would really draw people in.
I saw a dude a while back who bought an old capsule machine and sold people 3D printed tokens they could put in the machine. Then he had small toys in two inch capsules. The tokens could also be used as purchase incentives at predetermined price points.
Hello, 3D printing is great and all. I was wondering If you can do a video on how your electrical setup and how you connect your printers together from you pc, app is it through wired, wireless or just sdcard/flash drive please?
Yes Sir 700 is nothing to scoff at!!! Good job!!! so you talk about minis and naming.....With ZOU items the 100% size I call minis....with them at 60% size I call them TINYS....maybe that will help? Great job though keep at it with links and custom order promotions its another revenue source for you and contacts with in the community!!!
700 is good when the items are priced low like the minis. imagine that many sales of larger priced items. its good to have your $40 dragons on the table even if they didn't sell much because that 1-2 that end up do purchasing really boost the profit. Plus there's people out there who literally just want the most expensive thing no matter what it is. good idea
I have seen black PLA melt when it was in the upper 80s in direct sunlight. I have never had issues with other colors of PLA but I also mostly use PLA+.
I agree however if you have been watching his channel for awhile...He knows his numbers!!!!!!! In addition to what he is doing across all of his platforms, what he brought here is Penny's on the dollar so yes its profit!!! 100%...... Maybe not for us smaller guys but for him and what he is doing..... you might want to pour a drink and take 4 hours and watch more of his videos......

If you can do it online I dont even recommend putting the time into market selling. Use that time to keep refining or expanding your online stuff. Its a lot of work and hit or miss. Ive been doing it for a couple of years now and while it has made us money it definitely cant be a full time income. We are finally looking into selling online starting this holiday season. Looks like you did okay though!
Profit is what you make after costs, you made $700ish in sales. Just a WAG but you probably made closer to $300-400 once you calculate all of your actual costs (filament, machine depreciation, electricity, print farm space rent/mortgage costs, insurance, etc.) A decent haul for a small craft fair I suspect. Larger craft fairs might be significantly better as long as there are not a bunch of other vendors selling 3D printed goods. I'm getting ready to start my own manufacturing venture that will include design and 3D printing along with metalworking, so how to calculate costs and profit has been on my mind and something I've been researching.
@@graysone8703 didn't say he didn't know what he's doing, but he clearly stated they came home with less than $700 in cash more than they left with. But sure, ask any accountant and I'm sure they'll tell you profit is the money you make before taking expenses into account. 🙄
@@graysone8703oh, I see. You think you and he are the only ones that read comments. Did you ever consider that someone who isn't one of you two might read it and appreciate clarification since he didn't actually say what he meant to say?
Is selling 3d printed toys not the same as printing out online photos and selling them, I hope at the very least you only sold prints you designed, 3d print farms have become the tik tok influencer of selling things

Really love how you gave your experience and tips!
Glad you liked it!

make sure you are able to either tie off the bottom of the future banner or bring a pvc pipe to weigh it down

700, but what is it after you take in filament spent / printing costs / etc.?
yea I agree. he keeps saying 700 Profit, he means 700 in sales.... not profit....

Hello, im the wife in the video, we made over $700 that day. This was a rare fair with no vender cost. So $700 is rough profit after costs.
Wenn die Lizenzen keine Rolle spielen 😂

What’s your liability coverage look like and who is underwriting you for small toys, there’s a lot of exposure for lawsuits selling toys.

You can buy licence's for 3d models so the designers get paid too. Not sure if he did this though
this kind of business was popular in China
