People forget how smart Lucy is because of what a low bar being the smartest person in the room is when the other people in the room are Natsu and Happy, but she's right up there with Levy and Freed.
I do not forget how lucy is a genius
15:29 Layla did give her servants the physical keys, remember that. My takeaway is that when she gave them the keys she attached a condition that ownership would revert to her descendant should they walk the path of magic, as well as one other caveat. When Lucy became a wizard, the three keys were to teleport to her, like what seems to have just happened. To prevent this or maybe for other reasons, Zoldeo used his enslavement magic, locking him down.
For the record, Lucy now has 10 of the zodiac keys.

At this moment, Lucy has 10 of the Zodiac keys. The ones missing are Pisces (The Two Fishes) and Libra (The Scale). Layla (Lucy's mom) possessed three of the Zodiac keys and she actually get along well with them. They had a tremendous respect for her, being why Capricorn made an aditional contract with her to serve her family. Regarding the other servants who got her keys, one of them had already been showed.
There is actually a lot more to Zordio’s story even though he is dead now, but that won’t be revealed until the final arc and it ties in to the connection between… I don’t know how word it so you will just have to find out in the final season.
This arc is a rollercoaster
Honestly i forgot completely that Capricorn was possesed lol but it's good that he is back now
to be fair, the guy got erased after 5 seconds of screen time

tbh, the first time i watched this episode, i was legit so scared for lucy and so angry for cana. 😭
I completely forgot that Capricorn was being controlled by someone and was tasked to forever protect Lucy. Ultear is truly a powerhouse with her capabilities. I don’t remember why Kana put Lucy to sleep it never made any sense to me and was just really shady especially when ppl are attacking your guild like now is not the time to do that.
The sleep spell happened in the manga, Cana will regret it, this is important for her arc : she putted her dream before her friends
@@archangeruriseofthewizards8649yeah I remember wha her whole arc was during this part of the anime I just didn’t remember that she put Lucy to sleep here. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched the anime.

8:06 Yeah... The relationship between Zoldio and Layla won't be really explained, but when we will know how Zoldio was before joining Grimoire Hearts, we'll only want to ask more questions.
This sub-plot only gets weirder and not because of the magical fusion... Just because Zoldio has a weird personality
Even knowing why Kana wanted to become an S-class wizard so badly I still don't know why she felt the need to put Lucy to sleep. Lucy is her partner and is not in consideration to become an S-class. If anything, ditching her may disqualify her if the test hadn't already been called off because of the intruders.
I am also disappointed she didn't hide Lucy, especially with the monsters and roving enemies moving about.
She knew Lucy would object to going to the grave first instead of pausing to take care of helping everyone else.
One of my favorite arks! I can't wait for the next episodes!
Get zamber Juivia is going to have a great character developed amd true power!
I find it sad her relationship with Meredy will be more developed than her relationship with Gajeel, since he clearly is her best friend

Not sure if you’re going to react to Hiro Mashima’s other more recent anime Eden’s Zero, but that guy at the end, his design is going to be used again in the other series. Mashima is the GOAT for his stories but one has to admire how often he recycles his character designs. And 2 more months until new fairy tail comes out
