Summarized:
3 Types of Hajj:
Tamattu: Keep intention as Umrah. Perform complete Umrah rituals first. Men cut their hair short, and both men and women can trim their hair. Change out of Ihram clothes.
Then after few days, on 8th keep intention as Hajj, wear Ihram again and complete the remaining Hajj rituals (Mina, Arafah, Muzdalifah, Stoning the Devil, Sacrifice, Tawaf Ifadah, Sa'i ul Hajj, Mina for 2 more days).
Qiran: Enter Ihram with the intention of performing both Umrah and Hajj together. Perform Umrah rituals in Makkah (Tawaf-ul-Qudum, Sa'i (ritual walking)). Remain in Ihram without cutting hair or changing clothes. Then, complete the remaining Hajj rituals (same as Tamattu, except Sa'i is not repeated because it was already performed). Requires animal sacrifice.
Ifrad: Similar to Qiran, but with two key differences:
No intention to perform Umrah and Hajj together. Enter Ihram with the sole intention of Hajj.
Does not require animal sacrifice.

Thanks, this video cleared a doubt i had which many scholars dont address in Hajj lectures.
My doubt: i am living in Riyadh, but my Hajj Group is leaving for Hajj from Jeddah. They are following the Qiran/Ifrad.
But i wanted to perform Tamattu. So i was planning to come to Makkah, perform Umrah and then go to Jeddah and stay there couple of Days, then join the Group.
My question was, if i am re-donning the Ihram for Hajj, should i go to an Miqat from Jeddah, wear the Ihram and then return to Jeddah and join the Group.
So the Answer: Not required. I can wear Ihram from Jeddah itself and join the group.

He specifically mentioned that, when you do Tamattu. You cannot go back to your home or living town, after you do the Umrah.

Means no need to perform umrah???? It’s confusing bcoz most scholars says we have to perform umrah but will not remove the ahraam …but uou are saying that no need to perform umrah but just intend

As he explained:
3 Types: Tamattu, Qiran, Ifrad
Tamattu: Complete Umrah, then short hair, change clothes.
Then after few days, again wear Ihram and start other Hajj rituals (i.e. Mina, Arafah, Muztalifa, Stoning, Sacrifice, Tawaf Ifadah, Saii ul Hajj, Mina 2 more days.)
Qiran: Ihram with intention to Perform Umrah&Hajj together, Makkah, Tawaf-ul-Qudum, Saii Al Hajj, (no hair trim or change clothes)
Then perform rest of Hajj Rituals (same as above, except Saii - no need coz it was done initially).
Ifrad - Same as Qiran, except no animal sacrifice. And no intention to perform Umrah&Hajj together.

I am from jeddah..and if i want to perform hajj e tamattu..can i go to my home in jeddah after the first umrah..coz you said in the video you cannot go to home….and for tamattu we cannot do tawaf al qudoom???
