a little bit of tuning and this build works for me asoteric reaction t3 3 wave of dmg for me is much better and punishing strike mp reduction is usless in pvp
Hey! Began playing PvP a couple of days ago and this was really useful. I've been having a hard time in 1v1 specially against Strikers, they hit so fast I feel like I can't move or even teleport successfully. Any advice for when I'm cornered? Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! My advice would be to hold on to your Seraphic Hail and use it as defensively as possible. When you use it, you can actually run with it while inside of the ability as its going forward. This can give you some extra space to run and create distance. It just creates a nice directed zone of control, and if they get near you while you're in it, it'll start knocking them up.
Thanks for the guide but your positioning in the gameplay part is awkward because you left yourself open several times. I would probably switch some of the skills because either your timing was off and/or its just too predicable.
yes, to be fair this was gameplay from what...the first or second week Lost Ark came out I think? Yeah I think it's fair to expect some getting used to when you first start playing. Knowing how to play something and executing it are very different. I was still practicing at the time!
@@ShikariDill Well Im surprised you read and responded to my comment. lol I didn't mean to sound harsh but in the gameplay part, the enemy team had like 2 gap closers, as in players with high mobility/dash skills. That would signal that you should be within the zone of your casted CC spells to either punish them if they decide to go in on you / zone them off of you. The deathblade, I think, made you waste some of your spells trying catch him/her. I also observed them catching you off after you used your spells trying to zone or put in dmg. Sure you can say that at this point you were still inexperience with the game since it just launch. However, most spell caster players know assassin type classes with gap closing skills usually target mage type classes (squishy) so the understanding of the skill's cast time, effects, duration, range, and cooldown is important. This helps close the gap between knowing how to play and executing the action, which overall, goes hand in hand. Nonetheless, everyone can benefit from practicing and gaining experience from participating in matches. Do you primarily main spell casting/mage type classes in games?
@@samguy7209 lol it's all good, I'm not offended or anything :P I like to interact with comments. I appreciate the tips. I usually play melee classes. Caster classes in MMO's can feel a bit awkward sometimes for me. Striker in Lost Ark is definitely more comfortable for me!
@@ShikariDill ohh that make sense. I usually play a range class type like mage/ranger (mostly mage) but I play awkwardly as a melee character too. I guess its like being right/left handed.
i think swiftness it's not so good as domination for a sorceress. Cooldown reduction is good, but sorcerer literally eat mana in the breakfast, so you probably gonna be out of mana very easily. With domination, you give a lot more damage and when you have to wait for your skills comeback from CD, its the time you recover all of your mana
Ah I see, I was just told that swiftness was the stat to prioritize for almost every class as having your combo up as quickly as possible is what's important in PvP.
@@nzothemage2624 -.- I’m guessing you're joking 😂, but just in case you're not, mathematically speaking, it isn't, because 0 doesn't mean 0 damage. 0 means 100% damage all the time, while 1 means 100% + some chance of extra damage. So either 1 makes almost no difference when it comes to expected value, or there is some mechanic I don't know about like the first point into crit gives 25% chance, while all the others add an extra 1%.
@@rodrigoruiz976 1 extra point in domination will literally not do anything and will never be the difference between a kill or not. 1 point in crit is the difference between having a 0 percent crit chance and 1 percent crit chance which will often make a huge difference.
This is for PvP. You get this amount of skill points unlocked in PvP automatically. Just set everything up from the book of coordination at the PvP board.
Fair enough, I wasn’t sure whether to try content for another class or continue Striker content. Striker is my main, but I figured people would get tired of seeing only Striker content. But I can definitely get another Striker video going.
Nope! Basically does no damage and is a waste of time unless your opponent is still CC'd and you have no abilities up. Usually, it's better to reset for CDs.
@@slightly_tilted i mean yeah you can throw it out once in a while, while waiting for essential CDs. I'm just saying it isn't going to do too much but it IS some damage and something to do. Kinda like auto attack as a mage champion in League of Legends to push just a tiny amount of damage in while waiting for cooldowns.

Ty for this upload I just used my booster today to make a sorc and really enjoying it so far
of course! Yeah even though Striker will still be my main, I've been having a lot of fun with Sorceress.
Striker PvP main of PvE?
Nice vid! What rank are you if you don't mind me asking?
nice guide! Thanks
hope it helps, thanks!

finally , someone explained how to use this. im new to MMO , youve just earned a subscriber !!!
Hey, thank you! Glad it was able to help you out. =)
Great guide thank you. But the amounts of missed orbs in the footage concerns me
Yeah I know HOW to play the class and can sort've break it down, but actually executing it is difficult :P
I get focused EVERY fucking game. Nothing but stunlocks.

how do I turn the score and time window above the screen? It annoys me because it hides my enemies lol

Why 1 crit?
1 is infinitely better than 0

How are we supposed to allocate our skill points if you have that many maxed out??

I might consider watching this video if it contains how to counter a sorceress, but will you be coming out with more striker pvp?

What stats should i use for pvp?
Max out swiftness for Cooldown reduction, 1 point into crit, and the rest into domination!
can you make engraving guides ?
Yeah I just started diving into the PvE side of things, stay tuned to my channel for a PvE engravings guide sometime down the line.
Do you use the basic (right click) attack for anything?

wtf why 1 point to crit?
Gives you a chanse to crit, compared to never critting with 0.
Thats how i understod it.
do swiftness so much in castspeed and reduction? for me i felt almost no difference
I believe swiftness only affects Attack Speed, Cooldown reduction, and move speed but not actual cast time speed.
wait sorceress needs guide?
