    Thank you for walk through on 500 Hour service for that Engine of CATS. When does Hydraulic Filter NEED changing. just wondering on newer Equipment. Will have to try that CLEANER on my Backhoe. Where do you buy it at. So, Soo important to blow out that Radiator. I ran a side boom Mower, Boy talk about DRY grass build up. Myself washed it out with Water every morning when started shift. ( we did not leave mower out on Highway) Elephant Ear is a Nauctious weed. If you don't get rid of it off your mower blades. It will carry to anywhere your blades CUT. Thank you for being such a TLC to your excellent looking Equipment. Sampling the OILS very important for showing CAT what the Engine and Lubes are doing. But unless the owner Does it, they can't tell premature WEAR.

      Happy you enjoyed it!
      Hydro filter is at 1500 hours, if I remember correctly.
      It’s very effective system very minimal maintenance needed to it.
      And the air nozzle I got from my pops but I’m sure they have similar ones online eBay/Amazon.
      And ya I love that cat wants test samples of the entire system to catch anything before it happens

    We bought our first Cat machine about three years ago. It was trippy when they called me and said hey we see you have almost 200 hours on your machine would you like xyz services scheduled? Haha! Pretty cool.

    I peed in one sample container at the 250 hr mark. They sent me back an email that said my 259D3 was pre-diabetic

    Love the video, but I have a question about your Diamond C trailer. What was your reason going with the Hydraulic dovetail over the standard fold down ramps?

    • @IManOPERATOR
      @IManOPERATOR  2 роки тому

      Thank you, and hydro tail is the best of both, less aggressive incline to load, it’s high up no scraping when in sloped areas. And the tail locks the truck into the ground keeping from lifting the rear suspension off the ground. Super safe system and much easier

    Love your content keep ‘em coming. CAT makes such a great product. You don’t realize the little things that CAT is superior on until you own one. Comfort is a main thing. Their air conditioning systems are so much more powerful than other machines I’ve run.
    Where did you get the siphon tool you used to pull your samples? I know you got the plastic containers from CAT. But, I need to get one of those fluid pullers for when I service mine.

      I couldn’t agree more, this machine has been absolutely awesome. I couldn’t be happier.
      And the siphon was from CAT

      @@IManOPERATOR do they give that to you with the service pack or do you have to purchase it separately?
      We are waiting on a new CAT 306 to arrive. Have you run anything above the 310? I’m looking at a larger machine also between a 310 and a 315. I want the biggest machine I can get that isn’t terrible to move. Something I can move behind a single axle dump or possibly tandem axle dump with a tag along. I think above a 315 you start getting into low boy and road tractor territory. Trying to keep my haul fees on the bigger machine low which is why I’m asking.

    500 hrs on those pads. Doesn't look like they last long enough for their cost

    • @IManOPERATOR
      @IManOPERATOR  Рік тому

      When you work in the Sierra mountains you will never have any pads last long. Limestone, slate and granite boulders will chew up anything you’ve got.
