Yeah even as someone who never played Crisis Core I could easily tell he was acting so much like Zack. Like it just didn’t feel right at all coming out of Cloud, even a younger and less jaded one. Also the first Shinra guard he talks to has blonde hair you can barely see and he sounds exactly like Cloud. Also after Sephiroth kills the monsters, and Cloud looks in awe, the only other one in shot is the same Shinra guard who has the same expression and whose face looks eerily similar to Cloud. Really nice touches

@@Noushauga Yeah, He said he just got bored and lost interest in it, Which I was surprised to hear considering he's always been adamant about FF7 being one of his favorite games, Plus he loved FF7 Remake, He streamed and reviewed that one. I think the "Open World" Elements of Rebirth kinda turned him off, Remember bro called The Witcher 3 dogshit and said RDR2 was a freaking slog that he will never touch again, He def doesn't seem too keen on open world lol

Not going to look at replies to my comment but if they end the game as they started the game with Zack and Aerith, that would be amazing imo. However, I have a feeling they did that so they could change “that scene”. Oh well. Game is A+ 14 hours in atm.
the voice acting in this game is so incredibly mediocre. It's not bad... but it's certainly not good either. Edit: I do want to say the Japanese voices, albeit I can’t understand them, I get a much stronger sense of character and a more dynamic delivery of lines.
I think it's a joke, Sephiroth and Cloud keep glaring at eachother in slow motion and stuff like that, unintentionally making it seem like they have romantic tension because of them gazing into each other's eyes and shit lol
Love how Cloud has all Zack's tells (squatting, for example) and it still took me 40 minutes to remember that huge plot point.
