- Come with us as we hike one of Norway's most iconic landmarks - Preikestolen otherwise known as Pulpit Rock. It's known for it's breathtaking views of the fjords and steep cliff faces. We even came across a couple of frozen over lakes. While it sees more than 300,000 nature-loving hikers visit each year we found that Spring was the perfect time to avoid the crowds up the top and there was no waiting for a photo.

We were there last August…but looking from the bottom via a boat lol. Very impressive scenery and it was a beautiful summers day too! If you get the opportunity, take a trip out to the Grand Canyon in Arizona…I get the feeling you’d love it there too! Anyways, great footage (especially the droneage) with some great editing…well done, and thanks for sharing (subscribed) Andy 🇬🇧 P.S. I know exactly what you mean about driving on the ‘wrong’ side of the road (and seat)! 😵💫😱
It would have been great to see the fjord from down below. And yes we are keen to one day get to the Grand Canyon, that landscape looks unreal!

Preikestolen is not "infamous" No one has even died there. Unless there have been some murders or sacrifices there that I didn't know about. Beautiful hike though, even in the rain. Thank you for the video.
1 Person have died there, Spanish tourist in 2013.

This was in March. June should be a great time to go and visit Prikestolen. Enjoy your visit!
Amazing place! What month were you there? Is the turn of October/November also possible for climbing?
We were there in March. We're not sure what its like to Hike in October or November. Weather could be fairly unpredictable at that time of year so it's worth researching before you go. Also check how you plan to get there as public transport doesn't run all year. Goodluck!

Hi, thank you for your video. If someone is in fairly good shape and has a bit of hiking experience, do you think this is a good hike? Not too difficult?
I’m going in August. I’m a bit worried if I can handle the hike.
This is a great hike! There are a few steep sections but there are lots of stairs the whole way. All the ice should also be gone in August so no need to worry about that. In Summer there are also busses that take people of all ages out to do the walk. It’s a common walk and well sign posted. We’re all about giving it a go and if it’s not for you that’s ok, you can stop and turn around. There’s great views all along the walk.
