This song resonated with me a bit differently than I think it was supposed to... I, as almost anyone, want to accomplish great things in life, I know exactly what it is, get my stories out succesfully in an artistic way and have people who enjoy and experiences them. Yet, I don't chase this goal, I keep in an infinite loop of constantly wanting to try achieving it, realizing I wont, and then heading back to my pc and playing games, because I enjoy the time spent on the dopamine rush. It feels cheap but I enjoy it, so it has value. It's feels low but I'm glad going throught my days this way, which is kinda fucked up if you think about it. I grew complacent, shameless to this lifestyle. I could turn the romantic relationship portrayed in the song as my relationship with my own life. I'm not living my life, not working to achieve the stuff I want to, but I want to live it and I know I can give it my best, I just don't feel like it, the world doesn't care, so I'd go back to sleep and repeat another unlived day because it doesn't matters, I can only dream about it and still "live" happily, and I'm okay with it.
This is great, so underrated Can we get an instrumental version because recreating this increadeble sound is very difficult at least for me , don't get me wrong i love the vocals (great job vocalist). But i also like instrumentals
