As someone who's going to start working as chemical Engineer soon after graduation, this video was very helpful in understanding basic ideas. Thank you so much!

Nice dude 👌 best of luck. If I can offer you a piece of advice - never pretend to know/understand something that you don’t. Keep asking until you know something well enough that you could explain it to someone else.

I'm a biochemical engineer. We were always taught 3 basics:
    Mass balance
    Energy balance
Ensure all equations are dimensionally consistent.
We need more bio/chemical engineers, thanks for helping spread the word about us and promoting what we do 😊

I really enjoy your videos. I started my career last September as a process design engineer and your videos give such a great insight into the industry. I hope you make some more videos in the future!!

Thanks Pat. A video with stories from your career would also be pretty interesting mate or some case where you used this principles. Real examples always have some type of learning

Blooming brilliant. Extend it to life not only process engineering. Don't know how to deal with money, treat it like a mass balance. Don't know how to use your time efficiently, used a VSD to optimise your time curve.

All this seems like it is pertinent to a consultant and not my problem as a process engineer....kidding, Really strong points and good food for thought.

Out of interest - what is it that you like? The technical stuff, the demos, my thoughts on the industry?

Do you have any experience in strippers/columns design (not the binary mixtures we learn in unit ops)?
