1. This is David Bowie's version of the song, not Midge Ure's
2. MGS V used Midge Ure's version of the song, not Bowie's
3. People in the comments didn't care and started shitposting about MGSV, even though it's not MGSV version of the song
4. I uploaded new MGSV thumbnail to please the shitposters

Whichever version of a song is used for something, it's still pretty fun just to make a reference to the thing that song was in.

the Midge Ure version is my favorite, which it odd. Even odder, Nirvana's version is my least favorite.

Still cannot believe that “L is real” plot twist. Combine that with Wario’s “at night, I can still feel my ravioli” speech and we have one of the most emotionally evocative masterpieces of our time!
That was truly beautiful. My favorite scene in the game. That and the one where Mario is unconscious and Yoshi was terrible wounded, but had guide the Lakitu through the desert, to save him. I cried like a baby.

The Mario Who Sold The Kingdom
Is a story about how Mario starts his journey to save the princess but as he collects more stars he grows more manipulative and hungry for power, using Peach's rescue as an excuse to manipulate the Mushroom Kingdom population to do whatever he wants.
Mario ended up defeating Bowser but imprisoned Peach himself so no one could see her. Mario lost all his feelings and fear, becoming a hollow shell of himself; now using the princess and the stars to do whatever he wishes to.
He teuly became the man who sold the Mushroom Kingdom.
