Thank you for sharing this. I'm not Muslim but have listened to Muslim prayer and chants while meditating. They always provide intense spiritual experiences. This is absolutely beautiful.
Quite the chant! I am not muslim, but I can feel the faith and beauty. I don't understand why mainstream Islam is so rejectful of sufiism, its a very old tradition, and the caliphs didn't seem to mind Edit 2022-07-30: Thank you everyone for making me aware that I mistook mainstream islam for something like salifism. From most of my experience of Islamic theology and politics I have mostly only heard strong sympathies to a very strict fundementalist lifestyle, I was mistakened in thinking that they had won the mainstream. I am glad to be wrong, as I like this form of worship. Happy new year by the way!
Very few have criticism of this aspect of spirituality at least to my knowledge. But then again every group has its deviants and when you look enough you'll find people taking things to an extreme with their ignorance and misguidance. So some might argue that most sufis are part of the mainstream.
I would say that it's the vocal minority that are against sufism, I live in a country with the most muslim population in the world, and almost 90% are practicing sufism.

@@blackrevelproductions Okay dear, thank you for your reply dear, i got some part of this video translations from comment section. Anyways, we thank you for posting such a soul delighting piece of Zikar.
The soundtracks for "Ritual" and "Ritual II" were from a disc I used (with permission) called "Powerful Damascus Hadra". I only used 1 piece from the disc and mixed it with other chants/sounds. Unfortunately, the tracks on the disc were only labeled "Track 1, etc.". (I used Track 2, which you have here.) But generally, the term "hadra" is for the spiritual gathering (literally meaning "presence") and the term "qasida" is for the ode (literally meaning "poetry for what is sought"). You can try contacting their website directly if you have more questions (first link).
The one around 7:00 originates from the Banat Iskandaria tune, the origin of which is hotly debated. But it is for sure very old. Was surprised to see it here, it seems to be everywhere.
They are chanting specific traditional sufi songs. I am not sure of their origin but I think it is Levant. The first piece is طاب لي خلع عذاري and the second piece is طابت الحضرة and the third peace is already answered by GrimFate.
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would praise Allah in his sermon, as He deserves to be praised, and then he would say, “Whomever Allah guides, no one can lead him astray. Whomever Allah sends astray, no one can guide him. The truest word is the Book of Allah and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. Can I ask what is the innovation here? This is just group dhikr. I understand criticisms of using musical instruments or dancing the way some sufi groups do, but in this recording I only hear chants of remembrance of God, which is a basic practice and a staple of Islam that everyone does
@@blackrevelproductions @henrythoreau645 Thank you for letting me know. I really appreciate you letting me know. I've just looked up Khidr. yes, different groups (just like in other faiths), many arguing over what's legitimate, what's mainstream, who represents the true version, etc.

This is the mainstream, hallmark of Ahlus Sunnah wa Jamaat. From China to the farthest Western world.
