Great tips, as always, Karin! I completely agree with the points you made about the kinds of buyers FSBO's tend to attract. Taking the emotion out and negotiating with an investor who wants your house for free isn't for the faint of heart! 😖🏡
Yeah, it's frustrating to get a "hot prospect" for their house only to find out the buyer's credit situation is less than desirable.

Great advice, Karin! I actually HAVE sold a house FSBO (not as easy as one might hope)...and the experience is what lead me into the career of Realtor!
That's interesting! I went into real estate for a similar reason. I had an agent sell my house and do a crappy job and I thought, "Well geez, I could have done a better job myself." So I got my license and here we are, 14 years later. :)

Great information Karin! I couldn't imagine selling on my own without the knowledge I currently have. The deals that close seamlessly with absolutely no hiccups are few and far between. Knowing how to handle those hiccups to ensure a positive experience takes experience you only gain by being a Realtor.
Kerri, even with the knowledge I have, I wouldn't want to sell my own home myself. It would just be too stressful! Too much personal emotion to deal with!

Karin - great tips and YES!!!! Photos are one of the biggest mistakes I see owners and some agents make in Savannah GA and in my area too!
I agree. A professional photographer costs a small amount of money compared to the amount the homeowner will probably make when they sell. It’s worth the investment every time in my opinion.

Agreed. Especially in our market. It is no longer a hot sellers market where you can just stick a sign in the front yard and have multiple offers within six hours. It really takes a lot of marketing to get houses sold these days.
