Congratulations on your grades! I really hope your appeal is accepted as it is terrible they don’t have a fail safe, but even without I reckon you’ll still average over 70% because your other grades were so high. I know grades can be important for future plans but please remember they’re not a reflection of your worth - you’re absolutely smashing life working and studying and renovating and everything else in between. Hope that second glass of Prosecco hit the spot!
Great vid as always! ❤ ...My greatest fear _ever_ was being winched down from a helicopter to rescue a frightened yachtsman in a raging gale in the North Sea. My biggest regret was barfing up my breakfast I'd had on the warship I served on, only to get the piss taken by my fellow officers. < 🤣 ....And my biggest surprise was finding lovely old William Morris wallpaper under woodchip when my (since late) husband and I were renovating an old farmhouse. "Hedge" my current bf doesn't wish to be remembered for being hauled out of a hawthorn hedge a few months ago by me. But that's all part of the job that I do, (mostly in ghastly British weather). ...I hope your examiners will reconsider your situation. Just rid your house of the spooks and all will be well. Sorry for the long message, but have a better week next week. ~Wendi, age 60 going 25 🌻
Man that whole situation really sucks and is nobody’s fault really! I submitted one of the wrong assignments at uni but thankfully it was in the days where it was a physical document and I’d basically put it in the wrong modules letter box…so was able to let them know when I realised and it could be fished out again! However I did make a stupid mistake on my dissertation and accidentally did a reference wrong which therefore counted as plagiarism and capped my dissertation at 40 too….it was shite but life moves on and even though I didn’t get the 2.1 I wanted (which also leads to being able to do post grad) it’s never affected my professional life and actually now I’m finding whenever I look at postgrad they don’t mind about the 2.2 because I have plenty of other relevant experience. It will all work out in the end and don’t beat yourself up about it!
Getting so many distinctions? You should be so proud and chuffed. I really hope you make some type of appeal - its worth it. Sorry you had to go through this!
