- #iitroorkee has recently opened its newest girls' hostel, the Aravali/Himalaya Bhawan, and I'm here to give you a tour of this beautiful and modern hostel! The #hostel is designed to provide students with a comfortable and convenient living experience, and it definitely delivers on that front.

@@DivoDynamics no I can't agree on that , STUDENTS IN IIT JUST WANT JOB , NO RESEARCH , NO INNOVATION , JUST CODING AND JOB . SOME STUDENTS ( 5 percent ) WILL TRY FOR START UP .
IIT BOMBAY RESEARCH PAPER PUBLISHED BY STUDENT IN AN YEAR IS 8 TIMES LESS THAN CHINESE 20 TH RANKING UNIVERSITY .
THE ONLY IIT WHERE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION HAPPENS IS IIT KANPUR BUT AS COMPARED TO UNIVERSITY OUTSIDE INDIA , ITS REALLY LESS ( both in terms of quality and quantity )
IIT is not only about BTech students. The Btech students are doing the things you have just stated. But if you visit IIT you will come to know how many research fellows and PhD students are working here. They are really working hard.

It depends on the availability of rooms in Himalaya Bhawan. A new block in the building is under construction..if it is completed in time, then all the students can be accommodated there.

my sis got a job as a research associate in iit Roorkee . there is no hostel facility for her to stay. we have to find out a stay near by iit like a paying gust or something. can you help me to find out one. I am from a Kerala so it is very difficult to come there and find one. we are planning to come march first week. pleae .

Yes..prepare kar sakte ho..agar man main biswas hain..aur mehenat karoge to crack kar sakte ho..nahi to 1 yr gap deke bhi crack kar sakte ho..

Not necessary. But for daily use students buy cycles.

Yes..if there is vaccines in the hostel rooms you will be allotted there.

You will be allotted randomly at first. But you can change later if there is any vacancy in other hostels.
