Nintendo could have just remastered The Thousand Year Door and given us that and I would have been SO happy, BUT A FULL REMAKE?? OMGGGGGG

The fact it’s finally here. That there is a toad we don’t know from the OG… how good it looks. God it took 20 years but it’s finally back.
They also kept the noose lol, so they are changing some things, but not censoring some of the darker themes

Yeah pretty much had the same reaction, this game was a very important part of my childhood so hearing that little jingle at the beginning basically turned my eyes into waterfalls lol
Nintendo decided to end the Switch's life with a bang. Yes I know the next console will more than likely just be a Switch 2, but the Switch era has been magical for Nintendo fans. We got Metroid Dread, Metroid Prime Remaster, Link's Awakening remake, Gen 4 Pokemon remakes, Breath of the Wild AND Tears of the Kingdom, Fire Emblem Three Houses, and countless other amazing remasters, remakes and new games. I am a 27 year old man and I could cry. Life isn't the best right now, but Nintendo never fails to make me smile and I don't care how cheesy that sounds.

Yeah. The switch will forever live on as one of Nintendo’s best consoles. I really hope the switch 2 can improve on the switch’s flaws and have backwards compatibility
Ehh. The Gen 4 remakes are not some of the best exemples. Legends Arceus maybe, but BDSP hell to the no
same reaction i had, i got to that part and not even a half a second after the book appeared on screen i was so excited i cried. spent money on gamecubes and discs over the last ten years or more just to make sure i held onto my favorite game from my childhood, and now after this long they remake it. it feels amazing
This honestly cured my depression at least for a bit. I know Nintendo isn't the best company but this actually makes me appreciate them. I really hope they improve chapters 4 and 7/ finale and this will be perfect. 💙
If they do decide to remove backtracking hopefully that they wont make those chapters shorter due to it unless they add more loading areas that weren't in the original game.

This is more of a remaster than a remake. The graphics have been completely rebuilt but the gameplay looks to be identical.
I am an adult who hasn't cried in over a decade. I saw this announcement while I was on lunch break at work and instead of the usual jumping up and down and yelling YO YO YO in excitement.. all I could do was shed tears of joy

I LOVE that the hardcore Paper Mario fans all knew EXACTLY what the fuck was happening as soon as they saw the book and heard the intro music
The fact that just the announcement of this game made so many people feels this much emotion goes to show just how much of a masterpiece game this really is. One of my favorite games of all time. I have never been so excited for the release of a game, and it's not even the original release lmao.

Not even afraid to say that i cried even harder than she did. My favorite game of all time. Thought there was no way this would ever happen, and even if it did it would be a lazy hd port, but even that wouldve completed my life. This remake is beyond my wildest dreams.

I don't remember if I ever played the game or not I have the game but I focus my gameplay of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe so I can play a game with other people but I still watch past playthrough streams of all the Paper Mario games 'although I stopped with Super Paper Mario' from @GameXplain all of them I watch except Sticker Star was streamed by Derrick Bitnerd and he started his own YT channel Bitnerd Games Andre Segers of @GameXplain did a Sticker Star playthrough so I watch his playthrough of it I hope either him or Tris of @GameXplain playthrough streams TTYD remake and I'm almost sure they will because like with other people they really like TTYD and will be posting a long video soon of the game they already posted a few.

Y’all know just how LONG it’s been since I last played TTYD?! Literal years. The last time I played it, I had just the shadow queen left, and after dozens of tries, I had finally beat her, but then the game was shut off before I could finish the final cutscene and save. And man, it broke me 😩 I didn’t play it after and now i have no idea where it is. This will be finally finishing the game, years in the making. 🥲
