Here for any and all Falling in Reverse! First, you mentioned controversies: Ronnie has been accused of everything under the sun, and the haters, like your friend might, think the accusations are fact. He has admittedly done stupid things (the mic stand incident, doing drugs) but has paid for and learned from those mistakes. He was in prison but that all started because he was in possession of brass knuckles in a state they are illegal in, it escalated because while on probation for that, he left the state (for Escape the Fate's tour) which isn't allowed, he was also doing drugs at the time...was in prison for ~2 years. While there he was kicked out of Escape The Fate, started Falling in Reverse, got clean, and wrote the entire first album. He got out in December 2010 and FIR's first album came out summer 2011. Most of the "bangers" from FIR are since 2018 when Ronnie also quit drinking. Next, you mentioned Gangsta's Paradise and I wanted to let you know that FIR did a cover of that song that Coolio signed off on, it's different for sure. In terms of the laptops, that was a very specific incident and that part of the music video was just an extra f*ck you to Sebastian Bach for that whole drama. You also mentioned the fast rap, something about it being a recording. I don't know if you ever watch videos of live performances but the one for this song put out by Caliber TV is special for a lot of reasons: you can see him do the fast rap live, you can see how great the musicians in the band are, you can see different vocal ranges with Ronnie, and you can see Tyler the bassist providing stellar backup vocals. I strongly recommend watching it (I'd love a reaction to it, but even if you do it on your own time it's worth it!). Lastly, thank you for this reaction and keeping an open mind. Last Resort Reimagined ties it all together (but if you've never heard Papa Roach's Last Resort I would do that first so you can see how Ronnie reimagined it).
Agreed. He’s been raked over the coals by a spineless cancel culture that looks only to be part of the current tide of accepted ideology. I’m 53 and have subjected my ear holes to any kind of music that moves, inspires, or calms me. The last time I was this excited about a “new” (it’s relative) artist was Metallica back in the early 80’s. I would like to second Nicole’s request or suggestion to experience “Last Resort” as reimagined by Ronnie.
Don’t listen to the haters. There are a lot of lies and misinformation out there. He speaks his mind, and some people hate that. And he doesn’t take crap from people criticizing him on social media. Thanks for keeping an open mind!
Last Resort is incredible, you should definitely consider a reaction video to that song. I love watching people reacting to FiR for the first time, makes me remember how blown away I was when I first heard these songs :)

I have come to learn that Ronnie often likes to lean into the heel persona that cancel culture has put him in, but he is forever the antihero of the music industry. He takes that villian persona that has been thrust on him and uses it to lay bare the flaws in both the industry, society and himself. Whatever anyone says about him, he is honest about his journey. And just as he said in prequel, he's a hypocrite, but he will admit it straight to your face. We need more people like him in the world and the industry.
I heard Ronnie say he wanted to write a song like no pne else. No bridge, no hook etc. Just straight up writing. Everyone loves it. Love him or haye him, the man is mad talented!!
That scene with the old fashioned rocker is meant to be Sebastian Bach, the lead singer from Skidrow. FIR canceled a gig because their laptops were missing and Sebastian got on Twitter and started bad mouthing them and accusing him of lip syncing because they have to have backing tracks. It was ridiculous on Sebastians side and to me Sebatian is not the sharpest tool in the shed. So in the video the rocker gets hit with laptops😂😂😂😂😂

The very first time I even heard the name Ronnie Radke was the missing laptop/cancelled show thing. I had zero desire to listen to Falling in Reverse, I had already determined I hated them without ever hearing any of their music. One day Prequel popped up on my "recommended" list on youtube music while I was driving to work. I listened to about 3/4 of it before looking to see who it was. turns out I don't hate Falling in Reverse lol. For me it's the lyrics more than the music in this instance (even though the music is sick) I've been into rock/metal since I was 12 (44 years) I love that every now and then I can still find new bands/artists that make me feel something. Falling in Reverse is on my normal playlist rotation now right along side Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Lamb of God, Opeth etc.
Figured I’d throw this out there re: the falling laptops. Around the time this video was released (or rather not long before it), Ronnie Radke (the lead singer) had an online argument with Sebastian Bach after Falling in Reverse had to cancel a show because their laptops got lost. Bach did the whole old-grandpa-style “bands who use laptops need to stay off my lawn we didn’t use laptops back in the 80s to put on a good show” thing, and it turned into a huge dust-up involving Ronnie, Bach, and various commentaries for or against by other musicians such as Nikki Sixx (who defended the usage of laptops in rock shows because, to paraphrase him, times change, and bands nowadays try to give fans a huge, bombastic show rather than just have folks stand on stage playing instruments, and sometimes that requires usage of tech they didn’t even *have* back in the 80s). In the midst of all this, Falling in Reverse released the video for “Watch the World Burn,” and everyone who had been following the argument got the joke-the guy getting pelted with falling laptops is supposed to be Sebastian Bach. So yeah, that’s the story behind that bit of the video.
Just FYI, I've seen them live and have seen this song live....not only is it absolutely insane with their stage setup but Ronnie performs this absolutely flawlessly even the fast rap parts. The end part they play 3 times too, once as normal, again with an almost opera vocal, and again with even heavier vocals. The guy is an incredibly good live performer.
I discovered your channel purely because you reacted to Falling in Reverse and glad I did. I really enjoy your reactions. Honestly don’t think you have anything to worry about by covering Falling in Reverse. Ronnie Radke seems genuine and honest with a sense of humour. Like everyone, he has his opinions but nothing extreme although for some reason he is often mis- reported. That aside, he’s a genius and his music triggers emotion. Try their cover of Papa Roach’s ‘Last Resort’ to see another side of the band.
So happy to see more FIR on your channel. Ronnie has a past, but the boy has made his reparation, and has been doing his best for his health and for his daughter. The laptop thing was refernce to a tiff last year when some equipment was stolen, and they had to cancel a show - the laptops contained their backing tracks etc. Hard to perform a song that includes a full orchestra every night without the track. Give him some grace. He's a guy just trying to be better. Hugs from Newfoundland
Hey Melisa! Really the vocals here are assisted by their bass player. And as such, they play this Live, which is pretty impressive (check it out). Yes, Ronnie may be... let's say "challenging", but creatively, he's been running at a *high* level, these past few years. Rock on! 🤘😎👍
Hey there Ms Kelly. Another lovely video. I was wondering if you had ever heard of a German opera singer by the name of Erna Sack? I heard her today and naturally thought of your show and wondered what you'd think. (She had a vocal range and power that blew me right out of my socks) Anyway, thanks for the great content, and have a great year.
I really love your energy, reactions and your comments. I would love to see you trying "I'm not a vampire (Revamped)" so you can really see what a great voice Ronnie has ahahah. I cant wait to see you listening to it and comment. Either way, you are amazing and i love your videos !
His cataloug is so varied. His cover of Papa Roach's Last Resort just hits different. Also, the trio: Losing my Mind, Losing my Life and Drugs. Drugs was actually what brought me to Ronnie and I'm so glad I found him. . . Or should I say, he found me.
Melissa, dear Scottish queen, I was so excited to see you reacting to this. I posted a rather long reply to the comment left by @championNicole , so I won’t stand on this soapbox for long. I feel like Falling In Reverse is one of those pivotal groups that change and alter entire genres of music. I respect artists and people that refuse to be pigeonholed into some kind of predetermined box of artistry that the musically mundane can lazily sift through and only halfheartedly consume. Cheers!
I’ll go and have a look, thank you for taking the time to write a long comment. You stand on that soapbox. We need to commit and stand by the courage of our convictions! Thanks for watching Zack 😄❤️
It was really fun to watch your giggling during the rock portion, followed by your brain literally breaking at the end. Great stuff! If you want breath control, watch his reimagined version of Last Resort by Papa Roach.
There are three artists I listen to every day: Falling in reverse - you've already met them, Daily music therapy with Ronnie works😊 Ren - if you don't know him, I recommend his song "Hi Ren" as a starting, masterpiece! P. S he is Welsh😊 NF - my first experience with him was his mind blowing song "The Search"😊 Each of them is different, each of them is real, each of them is very important. I hope you decide to react to other artists, highly recommend, new sub here, appreciate you❤

when you are not used to this type of music and video it can be quite....shocking at first xD loved the reaction when he went superman and zapped everyone
If you want to see Ronnie and this bands range you need to listen to any of the reimagined songs but specifically “The drug in me is you” Love the personality of your videos, watched one FIR reaction so searched for others and now binge watching. 😂
Ronnie is not a monster he had brass knuckles and happened to be there when things went down, and most of the judgment he faces is from the misinformed and the jealous/trolls.... FIR is my favorite band and they have many lanes of excellence. ❤
Ronnie has freely admitted and posted on UA-cam what he went to prison for. I think just like you said Mel we wouldn’t be able to listen to most artists who aren’t problematic!!🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯
I am curious, what was the random FIR song you listened to on Spotify? I’m a FIR fan but not everything is to my particular taste either. I see you have plenty of the Re-imagined/Re-vamped recommendations already, so if I may, All My Life is definitely a very different sound and a bit of fun. Popular Monster and Voices in my Head are some of my faves thanks to the writing. Cheers and I hope you have an awesome journey!
First off, I wanted to say that this is an interesting listen. I can appreciate these styles combined in this manner at such a good level. The progression in the song I'd even call top-notch! But yeah, the first half, it's basically just hip hop. At least, it has all the elements of hip hop, and not much else. And it's this part I'd like to elaborate a bit more on, as someone who appreciates quality hip hop, and I'll try to explain it for more classically trained :) As you commented on, purely looking at vocal technique, I'd say this is quite good. But being a good hip hop rapper requires a bit more than that. You've probably heard hip hop people talk about flow. Well flow is not just speed and metre, it's just as much to do with the vocal shape of the line or stanza. Some basic rhyming is preferred, sure, but for good flow you'd want to see all sorts of pleasant alliterations, assonances and consonances, extra points for having them in groups of two or four. For old school hip hop, good diction would also be a requirement, but lots of modern styles don't really ascribe to that. Now if you deliver all of that without fault, you have flow. Lyrically, as you also commented on, it's all a bit basic. Now that's not a requirement for good hip hop I'd say, but you do like to see some clever wordplay, usage of homonyms or homophones to say multiple things at the same time, etc. to spice things up. Hip hop is a lyrically focussed style of music, and it should show. I spotted very little of that, either listening or looking through the lyrics. Of course there is also the meaning the lyrics as a whole, and how much this meaning convincingly comes from/represents the rapper. I'd say FiR scores quite good on this point, I'll have to hand it to him. It seems to come from the heart. Incidentally, this is also why you don't see covers in hip hop (sampling, of course, but a self respecting rapper doesn't really perform somebody else's lyrics), because how can someone else's words really represent you. This can make it a powerful gesture of respect or association to re-use lines from other rappers in the context of your own lyrics. I do think what Ronnie lacks in technique is a vocal conviction coming from the texture of his rapping. Even though these lyrics are about serious personal shit, the delivery does not reflect that consistently. There is nothing acidic in the style, there is no real fire. He gets close at some parts, definitely, but it's not quite there.
One of the most desired attributes of truly great hip hop is when snippets of the lyrics hit really hard, and work on their own so well you could just lift them out and they'd still work, and they have great flow - that is when you get bars. And this is where FiR utterly fails - he has no real bars. Again, it gets close to having one bar. The bit: "I'm a motherfucking god, you're a light yawn I'm a time bomb, and the vibe's wrong, is this mic on?" is almost there. But that's the only time it gets there, and I'd say the delivery at this point, while quick, leaves a bit to be desired, and doesn't quite earn bar status. All in all, I'd give the section a D in flow, and a C- overall, judged as hip hop. Of course, these are quite high marks for a pale faced rock vocalist from Las Vegas. And it's commendable in a musical world where it's exceedingly rare to have any rapping that doesn't get a big fat Fail within non-hip hop music styles, unless it's done by seasoned hip hop artists in a collaboration.
Great reviews, i love your honesty. PLEASE don't forget to also watch Ronnie's 'reimagined' version of "Last Resort" (originally Papa Roach). I think you'll be blown away!
Welcome to the rabbithole of Ronniverse/ FIR. They are their own genre and can't really be put them in a box. They do want they want when they want to do it. Ronnie has been telling a story for the last few years. The last album, Popular Monster, is in order of events. Those with negative opinions of him haven't spent any time getting to know him. He's very sarcastic, and people take him seriously. But under all of that, he's a good human. He loves and appreciates his fans, and he tells us all the time. He's humble and doesn't see himself as a celebrity. 😅❤
No1 band and Ronnie is a phenomenon and the most caint, authentic human being I now ... The haters let them drown. You must see the live version by Caliber tv and after do the 3 Reimagined songs, only piano, chello, violins, singing......much ❤
It's part of a quadrilogy. 1. Prequel 2. Ronald 3. Watch the world burn 4. Last resort. That's the order. Ps. Falling in reverse also did a cover of Gangsters Paradise with Coolio 👍
i just subscribed to see you watch "im not a vampire" (from 2012) and im not a vampire - revamped (from 2022). i cant wait to see your mind explode on the latter.
If you want to hear Ronnie’s try ability you should definitely listen to a reimagined video…Last Resort or one of the others. Truly talented artist and band.
Hi Melissa! Great reaction, I really respect a lot of the things you were saying about separating art/artist and what is true artistry etc. I always value your honesty and your humour (your edits are always god-level) I’m a new FIR fan, only started listening to them in the last 12 months. It was in fact this song that was my introduction to them and made me sit up and pay attention. I don’t normally pay too much attention to the artist behind the music, but Ronnie is a pretty divisive figure so I got curious. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of hate in your comment section, and I think his history has been covered for the most part. A lot of the current vitriol about him has to do with recently cancelled shows, his online persona and humour, and some viewpoints that I too don’t agree with (some trans and political stuff - nothing tooo dire in my opinion but I am not in the community so cannot speak for them). That’s fine, I don’t agree with everyone in the world about every single topic. Why should I expect my views to perfectly align with a creator that I enjoy? I will say that I have watched recent interviews and when he’s being genuine and not playing up the “bad boy rockstar” persona, he comes across as a calm and honest person, who will speak his mind but not mindlessly. If that makes sense. He’s also pretty funny and down to earth imo. He honestly was a little shit when he was younger but I’m hardly surprised given his upbringing. Most of us are little shits when we’re young. He has turned it around, quit drugs, got sober, and really worked on his craft. The musical progression is most obvious in his reimagined works and I hope you will watch the original and then the new version to see how hard he has worked and how far he has come. I am seeing FIR live in March and I’m really excited. In terms of what next, I don’t really vibe with the early stuff but everything 2017 on is interesting. I love the genre blending personally. Im so glad you’re doing FIR - your glee face at the transition was just gold and im pretty sure that was my expression the whole way through this video. More, please. ❤
Also…. And I mean shit my first comment was Miles long I’m so goddamn sorry…. But Ronnie also had also reacted to reactors watching his music. I think a good litmus test is that some people think it’s wonderful that he interacts so much with his fans and sees what things work and what doesn’t. Other people think it’s narcissistic and self involved and cringey. Personally, the joy on the reactors faces seeing Ronnie’s reaction makes me like it.
Regarding Ronnie and his time in prison, he's actually changed incredibly as a person he was back then. Yes, he fucked up in the past but he holds his hands up to say as such himself and admits his faults and has taken on responsibility for what he's done. He's an awsome dude now, I'm just watching and waiting for them to come to the UK. Probably one of the few bands I'd wait for the release dates of tickets and be fighting for the VIP tickets XD
I’m a huge FIR fan, mainly because of my son, but Ronnie is a good guy, he’s just misunderstood. He’s very blunt and doesn’t sugar coat anything, had some legal troubles, but we all make mistakes.

Oh no, that fast rapping he does in concert. He is talented 100%
Great comment! Thanks for watching my dude 😄❤️
Oh Girl.....you are so funny and honest and I`m so happy to found your channel!
You need to watch the live version of this now. Really showcases Ronnie's talent and abilities.
The live version of this song is a MUST WATCH. He gets operatic!
Oh my you need to do the caliber live version of this. It’s sooooooo good❤
I will thank you for watching Diane 😄
Just found this channel. I love it. Breath of fresh air
Glad you enjoy it! 😄
Please check out Falling in Reverse "Popular Monster" love these guys! They are also fantastic live. Saw them a few years ago.
Popular Monster ,Ronald, Watch the World Burn ,Last Resort and Prequel in that order
Thanks for this 😄
That pause was amazing.. The clip from rocky horror was the icing on the cake.. 💚
When in doubt quote RHPS 😄
His cataloug is so varied. His cover of Papa Roach's Last Resort just hits different. Also, the trio: Losing my Mind, Losing my Life and Drugs. Drugs was actually what brought me to Ronnie and I'm so glad I found him. . . Or should I say, he found me.
As mentioned so many times already, their cover of last resort is a must!
Funny enough; the prequel for this, videographically, is Prequel. Notice the suit at the end of Prequel. I love your energy, keep up the good work.
I have never understood why Ronnie gets all the hate! He is such a great artist. I prefer artists who have something to say though.
You know what people are like 💩Thanks for watching 😄
You have to do “last resort reimagined” if you really want to see his talent
Will do 😄
Melissa, dear Scottish queen, I was so excited to see you reacting to this.
@ ❤️
Please watch the live versions. It's not just the recording. The one with Alex Terrible. It's fire! 🔥
Will do 😄
Oh my gosh please listen to last resort re imagined ...goosebumps every time ❤
Will do 😄
It was really fun to watch your giggling during the rock portion, followed by your brain literally breaking at the end. Great stuff! If you want breath control, watch his reimagined version of Last Resort by Papa Roach.
There are three artists I listen to every day:
Falling in reverse - you've already met them, Daily music therapy with Ronnie works😊
Ren - if you don't know him, I recommend his song "Hi Ren" as a starting, masterpiece!
P. S he is Welsh😊
NF - my first experience with him was his mind blowing song "The Search"😊
Each of them is different, each of them is real, each of them is very important.
I hope you decide to react to other artists, highly recommend, new sub here, appreciate you❤
Now close the circle with "Ronald"!!! You won't be dissapointed!! Again genre blend and super heavy stuff... and yet another awesome video!
Can't wait! 😄
Ronnie being “problematic” is hilarious. He got his life together in a big way.
Seems like you enjoy it.. if you do.. fuck the haters enjoy it for what it is
Amen Eric 💪😄
when you are not used to this type of music and video it can be quite....shocking at first xD loved the reaction when he went superman and zapped everyone
Hes also very good at writing metaphorically lmao, im not a vampire revamped is a must watch lol
Funny you mention gangster's paradise, FIR did a cover of it! With Coolio in the music video!
Oh my lord!!! 😱
If you want to see Ronnie and this bands range you need to listen to any of the reimagined songs but specifically “The drug in me is you”
Love the personality of your videos, watched one FIR reaction so searched for others and now binge watching. 😂
Ronnie is not a monster he had brass knuckles and happened to be there when things went down, and most of the judgment he faces is from the misinformed and the jealous/trolls.... FIR is my favorite band and they have many lanes of excellence. ❤
Love FIR but love you more! You have been a must watch for me since I found you. ❤❤❤
Welcome to the Falling in Reverse Universe where every song is a different genre X)
Visit his re-imagined series. Those songs are all great. You can really appreciate his vocals and his musical genius.
As a singer, u need to check out these songs: 1-Drug in me is you reimagined. 2-Im not a vampire revamped. And Last Resort reimagined 😊😊
Last Resort - Reimagined...
Ronnie has freely admitted and posted on UA-cam what he went to prison for. I think just like you said Mel we wouldn’t be able to listen to most artists who aren’t problematic!!🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯
So glad you did another one!
More to come! 😊
I'd freak out for a deep dive into Maynard James Keenan. 🤞✌️
I fricken love that idea….aw man….do I have the strength? 😆
@@SoulSingerDiscovers Yes. Of course you have.
@Soul Singer Discovers ~Bruce Clan here, nice to meet cha!
Hello there! 😄
@
You too, like your reviews, will sub.
Oh no. .. he can do all that live.. xo
I’m looking forward to seeing it 😄
@@SoulSingerDiscovers - Caliber TV watch the world burn!! xo
OMG....just read the sign behind you @ "Subscribe you....."
Now I`m an all time Fan of your channel for real! Hardcore Woman with the same humor! o7
Prequel, Ronald, watch the world burn, and then Last Resort. It is a series and meant to connect together.
I love watching others experience an FIR video for the first time. IMO "I'm not a Vampire (revamped) is their best video.
Omg! PLEASE check out their live version of Watch the World Burn by Caliber TV!!! It's even better live IMO. Great reaction ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Definitely need to react to this live.
ronnie is his own genre he is amazing
I am curious, what was the random FIR song you listened to on Spotify? I’m a FIR fan but not everything is to my particular taste either. I see you have plenty of the Re-imagined/Re-vamped recommendations already, so if I may, All My Life is definitely a very different sound and a bit of fun. Popular Monster and Voices in my Head are some of my faves thanks to the writing. Cheers and I hope you have an awesome journey!
On a side note, FIR doesn’t have a genre. The answer is: Yep, that’s Falling In Reverse again 😂
live version next!!!
You should check out the live video of watch the world burn! Their live show is fantastic
First off, I wanted to say that this is an interesting listen. I can appreciate these styles combined in this manner at such a good level. The progression in the song I'd even call top-notch!
But yeah, the first half, it's basically just hip hop. At least, it has all the elements of hip hop, and not much else. And it's this part I'd like to elaborate a bit more on, as someone who appreciates quality hip hop, and I'll try to explain it for more classically trained :)
As you commented on, purely looking at vocal technique, I'd say this is quite good.
The bit: "I'm a motherfucking god, you're a light yawn
I'm a time bomb, and the vibe's wrong, is this mic on?" is almost there.
You must see the live version by Caliber tv and after do the 3 Reimagined songs, only piano, chello, violins, singing......much ❤
I’ll check it out. Thank you for watching my dude 😄
It's part of a quadrilogy.
1. Prequel
2. Ronald
3. Watch the world burn
4. Last resort.
That's the order.
Ps. Falling in reverse also did a cover of Gangsters Paradise with Coolio 👍
They are amazing . Definitely art that gives me goosebumps. Listen to bad guy, pickup the phone, and or their cover of last resort by papa roach
You would have a lot of fun listening to Ronald. That one has Alex Terrible for a bit as well.
i just subscribed to see you watch "im not a vampire" (from 2012) and im not a vampire - revamped (from 2022). i cant wait to see your mind explode on the latter.
Normal people: so what style of music do you perform?
Ronnie Radke: YES
If you want to hear Ronnie’s try ability you should definitely listen to a reimagined video…Last Resort or one of the others. Truly talented artist and band.
check out a video of this live, he does the ending like an opera singer, also do "Ronald" next
your reactions are priceless 🎉😂❤
Thank you my dude 😄
Your reactions are very entertaining (enjoyed the Rocky Horror clip). Here for all things FIR.
You HAVE to react to this LIVE!! It’s even better than this video
Hi Melissa! Great reaction, I really respect a lot of the things you were saying about separating art/artist and what is true artistry etc. I always value your honesty and your humour (your edits are always god-level)
I’m a new FIR fan, only started listening to them in the last 12 months.
You should 1,000% check out the live version of this song.
The laptop falling on that singer has a interesting backstory. You should look it up
Keep going on FIR! 🤘🏻
I will!
Hell yeah!!!!!!!! Come on!!!!! Prequel or Ronald next please!!! Love ya! Keep doing what you're doing!!!
Thanks for watching my dude 😄
I’m a huge FIR fan, mainly because of my son, but Ronnie is a good guy, he’s just misunderstood. He’s very blunt and doesn’t sugar coat anything, had some legal troubles, but we all make mistakes.
😂 he did a cover of Coolio's Gangstas Paradise
