Could i email you? Im interested in christianity, but it seems so intellectually lacking to me(i mean this respectfully). I cant find it in me to believe in the things that the bible says.(again, I mean this respectfully)
@@FuddlyDud thanks! I have a problem believing in the miracle claims of christianity, specifically. I already consider myself a theist, if that's relevant. It's the miracles that get me.
This discussion really just points out the state of American evangelicalism today with how much of a mess it is, and how most American Christian’s contribute to it, intentionally or unintentionally. If Paul the Apostle were alive today, assuming he knows our context perfectly, he would have a lot of things to say that most conservative American evangelicals would not expect Paul to say, and would almost destroy about how they think about Christianity. (not that we can know for sure what Paul would think, but with this hypothetical, I think it would be more likely than not) A lot of the times, American evangelicalism’s wooden way of interpreting the Bible, assuming that it’s easily understood, and that it’s authoritative in every single aspect does a lot more harm than what it’s often intended to do. The worst part is that it’s the easiest way to think, you just have to get past your feelings. No one wants to do the hard work of REALLY figuring out what the Bible says. Sadly, this is why evangelicalism is popular, huge, and rapidly growing.
First I've heard of Paul and Morgan, or the New Evangelicals. Sounds like they should be called the "Clueless Evangelicals". Hint: DO NOT conflate Christianity with American politics, either liberal or conservative. Christ's Kingdom is NOT of this world. Our God is neither a Democrat nor a Conservative nor a Moderate. He is neither liberal nor conservative when it comes to American politics. Our God is wholly righteous, while American politics is an unholy mess of good and bad.
@@MemeLordMondayPodcast Christian, Theist, and Atheist are all nonsense terms. I've been looking for years for anyone to define them, but no one has ever been able to. When people try, they either use a circular definition (which is useless), define them in terms of something else undefined (which is useless), or claim that they don't need to be defined because "everyone already knows what they mean". This isn't complicated. Terms that can't be defined have no value.
@@scientious what do you mean they aren't defined? these terms are quite easily defined and have widely accepted definitions. However, it's important to note that someone can be a Theist and not necessarily Christian.

How do you not had a heart attack with 500mg of caffeine a day for over 8 heard????
I guess no need for cardio😂
If you look at the literature the “healthy range” is between 300mg to ~1G a day!
@@ExploringReality really? 150mg gives me anxiety 🤣

Every other person I've talked to has made that same claim and yet, no one has ever been able to.

Let's hear it. State one of these "widely accepted" definitions and lets see if it's circular, dependent on other undefined terms or tries to avoid a definition altogether. Again, I've been asking this question for years without success.
@@scientious theist is the claim that there are/is a god(s)
