Why do ITV bother? Pathetic programme. They spend millions on X Factor and other crap, but can't spend the money on a live event, say from the London Studios which overlooks the Thames and would be a perfect location for an End of the Year show leading into the fireworks display. Get in Jonathan Ross, Ant and Dec or some key ITV host, few celebs, music, look back at the year then into the fireworks. They could even use Studio 7, the old Daybreak studio which has a wonderful view of the Thames, or the This Morning studio if they wanted low scale. What they do each year is a total waste of time.
