- Time to start planning for my next fall antique booth reset. To have a clearer vision moving forward I wanna create a easy mood board design plan but I want to do a physical mood board vs a Pinterest board. I'm feeling very mood this fall.

For the herringbone brick pattern, just cut a sponge to brick length and width and stamp it. You could mix paint colors so there would be variation. Great video, love old school browsing through magazines. There’s something to be said for holding actual books and magazines.

If I was still teaching art....I would have the kids create a mood board. It's a very good indicator of personality. Yours tells me you like warm, cozy spaces and you are sentimental. I like that about you!😉
I loved your mood board. It gave me some inspiration for my own home. It was great to visually see that primitive and French antiques look beautiful together. I love both of those styles and didn’t know which one to choose for my home. I might just do both! ❤
Just a tip….inexpensive hair scissors work extremely well in cutting detailed pieces from magazines, because they are smaller and extra sharp.
I find fall is easier for styling myself as well!!!😁☺️🍁I love me some fall clothes. 🍂And yay for physical moodboards. I'm also a fan. 🧡
I was pretty impressed with the mood board. I wasn't familiar with those at all. Pretty neat.

I’m a strong believer in making things cute for “in the meantime.” It helps me keep my spirits up. I painted my laundry/utility room floor (concrete) in our 1960’s fixer upper. First layer gray concrete paint, then sponge in size of your brick pieces, then smaller chip brushes for subtle differences in colors. Then clear coat. I used oil based clear coat, which you taught me was a mistake-it does yellow over time. I’m thinking, since your patio is
going to be in the elements, several
clear coatings would be good. I think you’ll be surprised how cute it would be until you build your deck. ~Cathy

The lighter colors in the grain sack and ticking pillows will help lighten the darker furniture, and you may not have to paint the furniture pieces! And i say, keep the mural and let it peek out in your styling!!
A alternative option for the back wall could be painting a painters tarp (cloth) the new color and keeping your Beautiful art. It will be so sad to lose such a wonderful creative piece of art. You did a lot of hard work. With the painters tarp you could have a second side a different color. It would give such a fabulous look to your space.

I've been thinking about doing a mood board because I'm attempting to redecorate my living room and keep getting stuck. This video was PERFECT! So inspirational and I'm already piling up my old magazines to start clipping!!!! Thank you for always being creative and yourself. I really feel like your style choices are so "ME". (I've actually thought about recreating your mural on my dining room walls....yikes! Scared but thinking it would be awesome.)

You can get really cute indoor/outdoor rugs that'd be easy to throw down n your patio. Just hose them off if they get dirty. This time of year they go on sale online--maybe take a peek?

Girl, you are hitting all of my feel good spots today. I love a physical mood board, I love all the magazines you are combing thru, I love fussy cutting images, I love that Moroccan star stencil, I love fall, cozy, rich colors and textures…. Yum. I wanted to see more pics of your side yard garden space. How about just stenciling a floor cloth rather than the entire patio floor if you’ll be covering it with a wrap-around-deck (love that too) and my August booth sales are slow right now too… decanters as candle holders…yes, what a cute idea…ok back to the video…..🤍🤍🤍

Love the video and mood board. Love that moody paint color. Yes, definitely do those things that you suggested like painting some of the furniture and making more pillows. What do you think about putting the crystals back on the chandelier? See if you can find you some mood lighting/lamps.

Loved the mood board Amanda. If you feel inspired to do more mood boards like that, they sell special paper crafting scissors with small but very sharp blades to get around those curves and corners. My booth is about a fifth of the size of yours so all I sell are smalls but your board was very inspirational. I have sold consistently but a lot less than most months this August. Summers are just slow for me. Thank you for taking the time to share and also the color of your eyes looked amazing in this video!

🍂Our sales are the lowest they have been in a while too!! I’ve talked to several vendors who are experiencing the same for August. Haven’t really sold a lot of furniture, mainly smalls which is unusual but I keep reminding myself…it’s ok… the Holiday Season is upon us!! It WILL get better!! 🍁🎃 Love the fall vibe & color pallets & Hopefully it brings better sales!! 🥰🍁
