Everyone back to the Western Front! This man can solo the bugs while we take the bots!
To anyone intrested on the difficulty any mission is it goes like this, eggs being easiest, destroy hive being 2nd after eggs then any mission with the terminals being 3rd and hardest mission on helldive being rescue civilians to the bunker.
The civi rescue missions are insane, holy fuck bruh

Defend missions are easier. Find a defend, egg, and then whatever else you can do with a combo of those two
Great start for civilians is have one stealth person while the other 3 so small objectives/ clear to extract while stealthier sneaks to civilians. Most drop ships fly to the triple and if are having trouble you can have one of the trio die and then solo can call in to make the civilian extract go smoother but you should be able to handle the few mobs that show up as long as you aren’t using too many stratagems to bring attention.

If you hold on your reload button,
You can change the rpm of the machine gun or others weapons, you can also adjust the zoom of the scope on certain rifle, or even turn off/on your flashlight
And fire mode 👍🏻

I really think this speaks more to the skill of the player than the strength of the loadout, especially since you ran without your supports for such big chunks of the missions
I was thinking the same thing, awesome plays but yeah. 90% skill, 10% kit.

they seriously need to buff every other weapon, because the shotgun is just the only weapon that is viable.

Some people already talked about rebinding the stratagem inputs to arrow keys so you can continue to move, and I can definitely see the appeal, but that is also time to get your hand back on the mouse and getting back into the state of "full aim control." Then again, I really don't have a better alternative to offer...
I have played both on Mouse+Keyboard as well as Controller, and I'm not sure why (maybe it's just from my time playing Helldivers 1?) but I have been liking controller quite a bit. For some reason on controller you can't move forward while calling in stratagems, but you can Walk/Sprint sideways and backwards while calling in a stratagem...
This game is a whole lot of fun and, baseline, I hope they add enough servers to accommodate the majority of people who are wanting to play. Beyond baseline, I REALLY hope they add more stratagems from the first game, ESPECIALLY the Mechs and Vehicles. (I miss riding around in the APC and the HPC with friends just doing drive-by's on bugs and cyborgs and sometimes even the illuminate...)
...That reminds me... The sector map is kinda set up the same way it was in the first game, and there's a gaping hole to the "south"... I'm almost positive they are going to add the Illuminate back in, but it's just a matter of "When"...
I changed my stratagem open button to my upper thumb mouse button (G502) on press instead of hold, and changed "UP" to Q instead of W so I can still run. Been working pretty good for me so far!
i got extra keybinds so im gona do 8 for up 11 for down 7 for left 9 for right
There’s a fix for controller. Just look it up on UA-cam if you haven’t already. It’s a simple fix

Yeah for me the stun is goated when I’m solo. Chargers are really simple if they just don’t move for a few seconds lol
@@sephirian688 i agree, chargers are so easy, especially when compared to bile titans. 2 railgun shots to a leg, and then just magdump your breaker into the flesh until it's dead. usually takes less than 1 mag for me.
You can just shoot the skewers with your gun to destroy them fyi, think it would have made things easier in mission 3. Great drops though man, I’m gonna have to try the shield/grenade launcher now!

That's pretty much what I use too. The grenade launcher is so good for taking out the robot factories/bug nests at a distance.
A lot of people don't know but the auto cannon does it too, I guess cuz the round is so big and it's explosive
Having the grenade launcher allows the user to have an open slot for the backpack as the is needed for the auto cannon.
@@drayy8 yea that's definitely a plus for the grenade launcher. I like pairing it with the jetpack for the Mando feel, but the supply pack makes more sense to have grenades for days

15:52, you can destroy the spore spewer mushroom with the grenade launcher
Also two regular grenades is enough to destroy the spewer mushroom. Normal throw distance is about 40m.
You can even snipe it across the whole map with the Autocanon
I killed it from pretty long range with just an explosive AR.

Mental. Solo on Helldive. That soundtrack just adds to the stress. I turn it off for solo missions.
Sometimes I feel the 500kg hit box is not accurate to it’s area size
it isnt. Often bugs in center doesn't die. Sometimes it goes through Titans, due to desync or something. And i really hate, that is doesn't destroy all eggs or closes all holes in a nest. I mean wtf?? that is not a 500KG Bomb then lol.
Because it fkin isnt😂 that bomb has the tiniest hitbox ever created and it doesnt match the animation. Also it cant take down objectives for some reason. Why would u literally make a nuke and not allow it to destroy buildings is a mistery to me. Everyones praising it but orbital laser is infinitely better and more effective. It has a long ass cooldown but at least it gets the job done when u call it.
Do you have the destroyer upgrade so u can control your reinforce pod easier ?

Awesome video, ill test out the shotgun and def add the shield to my loadout because those hunter tongues that slow you down are a pain

I understand the shield pack but try using the rover pack solo as well. It will kill the annoying hunters while you run away

Same! I think we're having problems though because we're trying to kill the bugs and not run away/break sight path/use terrain to get away and only shooting when necessary.
That fog on the second mission is crazy
I would go for jet pack over the shield for bugs, I see why you chose the shield, though. Blocking those hits that slow is strong.

Tbh, i play solo to farm, explore more.. etc etc.. can easily use the stratagem's to your play style vice versa squad if you go that route...my opinion
Can 500kg bomb be used only once per game or can it be reloaded?
The way the Eagle call ins work is they have X amount of Uses, then the Plane has to go home to re-arm which takes about 2.5 minutes(i think, could be 3 mins). So they're unlimited use just like all other strategems, just they can be used in bursts. Sending the plane home does de-activate all eagle strategems while its going home though. If all your eagle call ins are spent, it goes home to re-arm automatically, if some are left, you can send it home manually with another strategem.

as a lvl 50 i run this exact loadout, i just either switch grenade launcher with railgun they both good in diffrent ways.
Tbh, idk man, im soloing everything in the game with this loadoat, im using, railgun, shield generater backpack, orbital laser, and orbital railcannon strike. And anything like the tanks get killed in 1 hit with rail cannon, i use rail gun for mediums and hulks, and use the orbital laser to clear hard to reach objectives and if i get overhwhelmed easy, i just cant stand the nade launcher every since getting the railgun. Also, i know that ppl claim armor doesnt matter, but ill take the +2stims and 2 second duration to stim effect anyday over running faster. My ideal armor i hope they add would be a light armor that gives +30% throwing range and +2 secons stim duration, id never switch off that armor if i could get it
What’s the best way to level up and get more money or whatever the gold currency is to buy stuff from the battle thing because honestly sadly I’m getting bored of the game and I’m only level 13 just sucks having only 2 enemy types and doing the same missions

Don’t have the bubble shield yet. But I’ve been wanting to test if it lets you walk through an ems/static field with it like in the original.
It does not, you still get slowed even with the shield on unlike Helldivers 1 :c

It's coop PVE. So if you don't have friends it's harder. But I have to say: usually you can find people to play with, now quickplay is working.
And here I am struggling with solo on medium difficulty. I think I am just wanting to explore the whole map and kill every bug too much.

Like yeah cool, you can solo a difficulty 9 dive BUT doing NOTHING else besides the main mission and getting out.

@@LostLarz To add on to this, I think it reduces some of the bugs melee attack damage and protects against the slow acid of the leapers. You can see the leaper lick (which would've slowed the Helldiver) getting deflected by the shield at 16:23.
If it gets hit a lot, it will go down for a couple seconds and need to recharge/fix itself

they must fix the glichtes . . . bugs can beat you through rocks and walls and sometimes they appear from nowhere and stand beside you
What are those blue armors you had?
If i tried this I would have 2 tyrants at each egg nest. Was on the last objective of my 3rd misson to unlock helldiver and 3 tyrants all sapwned simultaneously had about double that in chargers chasing me and to make it worse the soil sample could not been seen anywhere so I could not finish the misson. I will try again tonight but yeah really felt like nefarious forces were working against me.

Jump Pack is Trash… i have it and stopped using it. Takes too long to recharge and the height is not so great.

Jump pack is only good on extermination missions to get in a high untouchable place (but the missions are usually pretty easy so there is no need to) or in extraction when it's hectic af with 2 bile titans behind you and 5 chargers on the ground

I think so, the tighter spread let's you deal incredible damage from a distance. The ince diary is nice for clearing waves of lighter enemies from a distance.
None of the stuff in the paid pass is good, frankly.
Hell dive on the bug side is about as difficult as the easiest automaton fight

Why'd you waste an entire 500kg bomb on the spore though? You can take that out with a few shots lol, even from like halfway across the map. You should use your map radar more often too to see where enemies are for an escape or attack route.
