Man im not even American and the Star Spangled Banner on electric guitar is one of the most coolest things ever. If only i had a valid reason to play it😂
I'm Australian & have been learning this version. You don't have to be American to enjoy it. Just plug in an Amp loud & let it rip! It's such an awesome piece of music.
Just got through the first two parts and can already tell this is going to really help my playing improve. Because of the constant slides and vibrato I’m pumped
I’m not even an American. I’m Australian but I love the melody of this anthem more than my own. It’s so soothing but epic - especially with a guitar singing the notes. I’m going to perform this for my Year 12 graduation assembly which is about 35 weeks away.
Carl that was the best guitar playing of the National Anthem that I've ever heard hands down!! That was the way every guitarist should play it if given the tremendous honor to be allowed to play it!!
thanks. cant wait to bring my amp out on my front lawn, wearing my american flag parachute pants, and bandanna, turn the amp up to 11, and remind all the neighbors around here that they live in the greatest country in the world.....Murica!
I love this, this is what I used when I played the national anthem at a school basketball game back in December 2018. Where I'm from we have a horse show come through town and our school makes games out of it and I was asked to play it there now as a sophomore too. Carl has never let me down thank you !!
Theres nothing you can do. In the next 200 hundred years it will have gained independence and become a world super power while you went from owning half of all guitars to owning a guitar the size of michigan
Just want to thank you for this lesson, I learned this version of the anthem and I played it for my schools basketball game and it hyped everyone up they loved it!
Was scrolling through UA-cam and this popped up. Decided to learn it since we are only two days away from Independence Day. Had this down in an hour, Carl makes it way to easy to learn!
I love this lesson because it goes up and down the neck - can really get some long slides in, and lot of bending too, and I love the trilling, which I am just learning
I've never played the guitar in my life. My son asked for an electric guitar for his birthday and unbeknownst to him, I'm buying one also and I'm going to practice at work and one day rock this song. Can't wait for him to see this....
Honestly guitar lesson videos are the only ones that can make me thankful for getting a n add that way I can put like a minute and a half of just practice without having to pause my video and make sure my phone doesn’t turn off
I have to say as an American, that was one of the best versions of the national anthem on guitar. Each note was played to perfection❤. You should be asked to play at a huge event. With the thousands upon thousands who attend President Trumps rallies, you would seriously be an American Icon to play before his speeches. Just saying. This country needs him more then ever. Just saying. God bless and thank you for the greatest song to be played.
Carl, it's wierd the way I feel I know you. All these videos of yours have really helped me as a player. Thanks... watched your vid on Octaves 👨🏻🚀Nice 😵💫
I can't believe I learned it all in one night! The only thing I have trouble with are the trills toward the end, but you can leave some of them out and it still sounds good. Thanks for posting. I watched another SSB vid, but I liked yours much better.
I live in the UK and that sing is for USA so I learnt it just for a joke, but I'm happy that I can play something new, so I appreciate the video and still love your channel 👍
I’m not even American but I love this country and it’s anthem. I lived six years of my life in this beautiful country. God Bless America!!!! 😎
Hey, if you love this country and want to be American, as far as I'm concerned, that's all that's required to be an honorary member. Welcome
That's great to read unfortunately nowadays you have Americans who hate the country glad to see someone who is respectful
We many people we are willing to trade for you.
@@BeartheSamoyed Amen to that!!!
How to get cancelled and praised at the same time: "I hate Americans"
Dude that's one of the sweetest tones I've ever heard. 😳
