A good speech by the Mayor of Blackpool. The air of celebration and people's sense of freedom is testimony to what she said about the resort. Whether it is the political arena, interacting communities, managing a company or building a road, the truth is the same, only tolerance and understanding and a will to compromise will truly win the day. To be unable to see that truth can only lead to negativity and it took so long to emerge from that negativity. Not so long ago the incredible person who saved many lives and shortened WW2, Mr Turing, was destroyed by that negativity and the lawmakers apology was very recent indeed. Lets encourage the positivity and support the hard won Pride.

Colin I suppose you already know this but just read on a Blackpool facebook page they are saying there will be no train service running from the 21st up to 26th of June. Maybe people need to be aware of this, luckily I wasn't planning to come on those dates. Take care pal 👍
