Hoods - "Once Again" I Scream Records

BlankTV Premiere! The latest music video from veteran hardcore band Hoods, is really more of a rebirth of a classic track and old school live footage. The song, "Once Again" was originally written in late 1994, making it the first Hoods song ever. It was the first, titled track, on the first, Hoods 7 inch, also titled "Once Again," which was released in late 1995. This new recording of the track is an anthem to the band's "never die" attitude. The video is compiled of insane Hoods live footage, with some of it dating back to the release of the "Once Again" 7 inch. This is the kind of live performances that Europe has to look forward to in the coming weeks, and America to follow.

The song is about how they created the scene here in Sacramento and then all these metal bands took it from them,

@dudage12 i had to laugh at what you wrote. Terror great band, Have Heart great band, Hoods great band. They are all different though. Have Heart is a fuckin killer straight edge band. I respect that. Terror, yeah they went a little on the poppy side on there last record, but there still great at what is hardcore. They get the message across. Hoods are veterans, they will go down that way. but saying these bands suck, its not right. Whether its shitty or good, its still hardcore.

They also get tired of playing the scene game, which is what hardcore is all about. I love hardcore till the day I die but I can't got to every fuckin show and get sick of feeling like attendance is necessary. I also dislike the vibe at the shows now. people there just to hurt other people, (and I have been to some violent shows) not cool. hardcore never fades people grow.
