Weird FM24 tactics - can you make a 5xxx3 formation work?

Weird FM tactics always fascinate me and I feel they give us a nice challenge that forces us to try out different roles and PIs, learning more about the game engine and adding new tricks in the bag while we do it

Yeah, just from seeing it; that's a medium block with at least two pressing forwards. The central defender should press more to cover the very dangerous area in front of the backline. Both central midfielders should maintain the position. I'd play direct.

As I said in the video - playing direct was not working for me, although it makes sense. But it also makes you loose the ball quickly and invites pressure

@@zapbulon The requirement to play three central defenders is the killer. the 4-1-2-3 is one of the meme formations in Football Manager.
