As much as it is fun to clown on Josh McDaniels as a head coach (and he deserves it), he worked well with Brady and they achieved some championships together. I wouldn't lump him in with Matt Patricia.
With changes in philosophy at least he has experience in the system. ie Patricia & Judge had no clue

The Jakobi Meyers’s disrespect is crazy! Solid WR2 ! Plus Tre Tucker & Michael Mayer are young studs, set to take a major leap going into their 2nd year! I get the concern for RB, but I believe we’ll utilize all three RBs throughout each game, instead of relying on 1 RB as we did the past seasons with Josh Jacobs! But don’t get it confused, Zamir White will be RB1 ! Plus our defense will be a top 10 defense easily! 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
Jakobi Meyers is a really good receiver. The qb play last year was bad.

I do not consider Daboll a lock of being the Giants coach in 4 years, he just has to be drafting at this position of drafting 6 again will get him fired. He might get a pass if a rookie starts most of the games and looks good, but drafting 6 probably means the guy the drafted or the team did not look so good. The Steelers are once again in Picket territory for a QB, in particular if he is the 5th or 6th taken, because they just used a pick on a QB, they pick well otherwise or they wouldn't be consistently good, they will not use this pick on a QB.

a rookie can look good and you can still pick high it happens with most qbs especially since they don't have any great skill positions or top line defensive players

Jordan Love sucks. He had one of the luckiest seasons in history and 2024 is going to expose him for the sub-average QB that he is.

I think Florio is right about the 49ers. Brock Purdy is pretty underrated and if you look at his overall skillset he should be the starter for a decade, assuming he stays healthy. Not the strongest arm, not the quickest release. But he usually throws on-time-and-on-target and his ball placement is really good. If it wasn’t he’d get picked because he can’t really drill it like Mahomes. But it’s funny because Brock’s dad is a huge Marino fan supposedly and Brock is playing for the team that beat Danny Boy in the Super Bowl. But I think what sets Brock apart: his brain. I guess he scored really high on some test, probably not the Wonderlic as I think the NFL dumped it.
Plus his anticipation is otherworldly, making up for the arm un-talent

I'm a Seattle fan who despises SF but I agree: Purdy is a very good fit for that offense. And he's only going into season #3 so he still has room to refine his game. I don't agree with any Purdy disrespect, even if I want him to fail miserably as a division rival.

I'd even zoom from the whole defensive coach bit and think, as a top QB, I'd want to avoid dysfunctional organizations (i.e., Chicago and Washington).
The question about the Steelers signing those two QBs. We know there’s the potential for high upside from either of them. If Russ is comfortable in the offense, he could return to at least a lower Pro Bowl level QB. Fields could still develop into a true franchise guy.

Florio is such a goof, he names QB’s/coaches that aren’t even close to a top 10 pick outside of Minn but they’re making moves to get in this spot.
Even though I used to be a Vikings fan like Florio but dumped them like a psycho girlfriend over a decade ago, I think if I were a rookie QB I’d want to go to Minnesota. Sam Darnold ain’t it so he wouldn’t be much competition. So the Vikings job would be mine for the taking. And throwing to Justin Jefferson? Dream come true for any QB I’m guessing. The Bears? I’m more bearish on Chicago stock than Jonathon Hoening eating fried chicken while discussing investment opportunities during a major downturn. (Jonathon used to be on a show called “Cashing In” a long time ago, with the guy from “MASH.” It was really funny watching those two yell at each other. But Jonathon is pretty funny.)

The Browns are absolutely dysfunctional. They signed Watson to a monster, all guaranteed contract, after he hadn't played for a couple of years, and was overrated to begin with. They were literally BETTER with Flacco, lol. They also just signed Judy to a ridiculous contract for a guy whos never even hit 1,000 yards in a season... Let that sink in. With 17 games, Judy has never had a 1,000 yard season, and just got paid by this team. They do this, and Nick Chubb, one of best RBs in football, is on the final year of his contract. The only reason the moves they make arent very controversial is that no one gives af about that team outside of Cleveland.

Can you people stop with the revolving door of offensive coordinator talk like becoming a head coach is a different breed it's not for everyone the responsibilities are nowhere near close between the two. How many of those guys you really think are going to want to leave a top qb for a rebuild job because the chances of you jumping from a great qb to another is slim to none
The premise is BS. A good QB elevates a bad team. You can’t say Wilson went to a bad team and on Mac Jones, frankly he was never a first round talent and that was just never going to work from a talent standpoint long term.

Well the Vikings are the obvious choice for best place to go for a QB. Chicago is the 800 pound gorilla they seem to be dancing around as the worst place. If I was Caleb Williams I would try and pull an Eli Manning maneuver, to avoid the Bears.

You might be right. But playing in wind and mud and snow is not ideal conditions for a QB. Vikings are in a dome with JJ and Addison and Hockinson and 2 elite Tackles and Aaron Jones at RB, Bears will certainly be better though with Williams.
