@WalterTheBalter this is much more in line with the C300, but they're all very similar in their core. Both the C300X and C300 (or "AC") can be used as AC UPS backups and have AC outlets on the front. The C300X comes with the shoulder strap for carrying, the C300 (AC) can have it as an accessory. The DC version has USB-C in place of the AC outlets. Thanks for watching!
@@Accounting4Cycling I got two 300dc’s gave one to a homie I prefer the ac model for anyone out out had more features for my use since I use cinema cameras
@WalterTheBalter I've been running my bedroom/balcony TV off it all late summer and fall! The "free" electricity to watch playoff baseball has been pretty amazing!
so you plugged it up to a 200w solar panel. Is that ok? I thought you could only use a 100w panel with this power station. Sorry i would really like to know since i have one of these coming in the mail and am debating whether to get a solar panel or not.
@chrisb0803 Longterm, it's not recommended as you can burn out the inverter if too much power comes through, short term has been fine, though. I also usually have a battery bank charging off the 60w USB-C on the panel, too. So it's not getting close to the full 200, it also likely would cap out closer to 150 from an efficiency standpoint. I would recommend sticking to a 100w panel like Anker does, though, to each their own.
Thanks for the comment! I know, it was a knee-jerk purchase, not fully knowing where I was going to keep everything. The 25-foot cable is WAY too long!
At the time I made the video, the C300X didn't actually have real instruction. The QR code just went to Anker's general support page. lol I found out later that the C300, C300X, and C300 DC are mostly the same on the inside, just with different ports and abilities on the with AC (the DC can't be used as a UPS battery backup).
It wouldn’t be an unboxing video if he did that. Having said that, I was cringing when he kept turning and flipping the power station upside down. It clearly states in the instructions that it should never be laid on its side or worse be put upside down. Since reading that I’ve made sure I dont do this.
What’s the 300x all about all I can find is the ac model

Is that your address on that sticker?
Thanks for pointing the sticker out! I must've missed it while editing. 🫠
@@Accounting4Cycling Yeah need to be careful with that! 😅
You're losing too much juice in all the length in that cord😢

You really need to read the directions before you review this 😑
Directions?!!! .. Errr! .. it's instructions!
