I am just going to remove the balance chain only and leave the assembly so I did not order a strap kit or windage tray. I am keeping everything pretty mild power wise.
Any way I can get ahold of you for some help. I’ve got the 6061 crank strap kit with windage tray and no matter how I assemble it it’s hitting oil pan at 4th strap where windage tray gets mounted.
Got ahold of them and they just sent me 4 more studs like what they sent me the first time smh. What did they send you.? A bolt and washer I’d assume by the looks of it. I cannot believe it took over a month for them to send me my order and still can’t even send the right parts to get it done.

The oil pan gasket doesn't need gasket sealer? That Mopar spray stuff? About to do this on my GT. Thanks!
You put a little sealant where the oil pump sets on both side for the pan to seal properly.
Where can I get those torque specs and do you by chance have a link to the book you printed out?

Get with DCR directly Jordan. The same thing happen to me. Some of the hardware was shipped wrong but they corrected it.DCR was ver helpful

And a bolt and washer id assume? Where did you put 4 shorter studs? On the crank straps that mount to windage tray?
@@jordanv3842 if I remembered correctly yes. I would torque everything down and check for the clearance afterwards
