I love rice Krispy treats! Brown butter is a game changer. I’ve been using it in mine for a while. I also like a little flaked sea salt on top 😊

Rice krispie treats are my sick day snack. Any day I'm under the weather, my boyfriend makes sure to grab a box of rice krispie treats along with the medicine when he goes to the store. Love to make them from scratch when I'm feeling good too!

My favorite way to jazz up rice krispy treats is to use the chocolate rice krispies cereal and mix in blitzed black sesame seeds for a nutty kick!

I have always liked the basic rice krispie treats. I have made them with different cereals and they are ok. I will definitely be doing the fancy choc/strawberry version though.

I learned something, brown the 🧈. Also adding dried fruit is an excellent idea. I usually add a lot of peanut butter, then have stomachache. 😂

Hi Zung, if you want your Rice Krispies treats to remain soft just add double the amount of butter you used. Will stay soft for days. :)

Actually, my dad had heart disease for most of my childhood and eventually passed away from a stroke. I am well aware of the repercussions and my sodium intake which by the way, I usually under salt things anyways. Salt isnt the enemy - the unhealthy lifestyle and overall diet is. And thanks for your concern, but I actually do know what my blood pressure is and it's in a healthy range. I understand you're coming from a "good" place, but maybe your approach is a little abrasive and shaming someone you don't even know ... for using salt!!... is a bit much. Thanks for watching! 🙄
