5000 Acres are necessary for a typical Airport with Multimodal Connectivity and Cargo handling. 100 acres is not even sufficient for fire assembly for passengers. Kolkata needs a Greenfield Aerotropolis in South 24parganas.

Well, it's good to hear about the expansion. How about more international flights with direct connectivity to Europe,Africa, the US, Far East, and Australia?
Through your medium, initiate an awareness drive that will make the passengers flying in and flying out of Calcutta Airport to prevail on international airlines like BA, Qantas, JAL,Air Canada, Air France, Malaysian, LOT, Turkish, KLM, Lufthansa to connect Calcutta with their flights.
